my goal tomorrow if i stick to it is:
*gut out the under stairs cupboard (only moved in in Oct and it is a mess)
*tidy the spare box room ( clean washing lying all over the single bed because i'm too lazy to hang things up)
*finish off a few loads of the washing basket
I HATE washing clothes- dont mind hoovering, mopping floors, dishes, ANYTHING- hate laundry of any description!!!!Now a mother to my beautiful daughter OliviaBorn 10th Dec 2010 weighing 7lb 1oz:A

toottifrootti wrote: »hello and welcome chivers1977 it is lovely to have you join us! WOW that was a great achievment getting DH to sortout his clothes - a lot of the ladies here will be very envious!!!!
Make sure you read the first post carefully as it contains all the info and abbreviations that we use!
A new list is added to the 1st post every evening by pigpen our illustrious leader and by the weekend you will have been round the whole house.
Dont get stressed with the mess just try to do the list to whatever level you can manage depending on your home circumstances - work, children OH's!!!!
Even if you only manage level 1 everyday when you come back to that room next week you will find it is easier and as time goes on it becomes more manageable and you will see huge differences - I know it sounds impossible but I can vouch for the fact it works!!!
Remember your home didnt get in a mess overnight so dont expect it to get tidy in a day!! Dont try to do the whole house at once - you will tire yourself out and sicken yourself - we have all tried it!! BABYSTEPS - little and often and you will be amazed at the improvement.
POst what you have done and forget about what you missed - there is no such thing as failure on here!!!
The support, encouragement and friendship on here is simply THE BEST! ask any questions and we will give you our tuppence worth - sometimes sensible sometimes totally insane! We dont bite - well most of us dont - watch out for the full moon:rotfl: and have fun!!
welcome to the totally bonkers mad house!!!!
toots xx

ragz – thanks J I’m now up to 1,700 words but most of that is rubbish!
OJK – what a nice surprise for Mrs OJK. Your girls are lovely, are they twins?
Mrsmortenharket – your OH would be pleased with the footie result
Gryfon – do you already have le crusuet stuff? I’ve had it for 16/17 years and find it very heavy. I’ll be looking at replacing it soon and wont get it again. It does look beautiful. Does Mr G do the same job that AnWsMum’s DH did? I am in the same business…sometimes allocating the public holidays
Hippy – I know the feeling, but I’m addicted. Take care xx
Toots – yey!! WTG
Kazmeister – which JO did you get and how is it?
Hawthorn – hope today has been better for you xx
JAM – have you had counselling? It helped me, but then again, so has the prozac
lil_me – thanks. Are you managing ok with your legs? Sounds awful (((hugs)))
sortingout – are you Scottish? I always thought ‘guddle’ was a Scottish word
Valli – I think G&B has been working quite a lot and partying as well. Quite right too
pigpen – what a fab pic! DD2 doesn’t like chocolate then? Lol How on earth do you manage to fit in your assignments with everything else?
Juliejim – well done on the cycling! I got a bike last Christmas but I’m too scared to go on the road.
Has anyone tried the orzottos in Nigella's Christmas book? I've borrowed my mums copy, so will make the beetroot one to go with the leftover pork for tea. Will watch the 2nd half of the Liverpool game and then bash on. Oh and find something to stick in my sig xx0 -

Hot water bottle (or several!)... and have you got the heating on?? You may need to turn the radiator TVRs up (if you've got them) to get warm enough for the thermostat to kick in. It doesn't matter how hard you are trying to save, you need to keep warm enough to keep going0 -
sortingout – are you Scottish? I always thought ‘guddle’ was a Scottish word
Aye, and I'm in a right fankle over my guddle in this midden!

pigpen well done on the assignments, I'm not nosey reading your DFW diarywell haven't today anyway
kateratarina well done at diving straight inI don't mind washing clothes, it's putting them away which makes me cringe!
iriedaughter you are much braver than me, I haven't stepped foot in a Woolies, in fact avoided sales completely! I can't cope with queues at all, I nearly popped in to the metro yesterday for something I need but gave up once I hit traffic queue!
froddy I didn't think it was that cold here but been out again and the temperature has definately dropped sharply since the sun went, it felt warmer because we had sunshine earlier for a change.
greenbee :rotfl: love the missmatching, joys of working from homeI'm a PJ addict, which means I regularly wear them as much as possible, changing to go out if necessary (dog walking/school/shop) then back into them.
Dinner all cooked and eaten, popular meal of sausages, beans, egg and chipsDS eating yoghurts as there was some needed using up, well needed using up a few days ago, but they taste fine.
4th washer load is in, have rattled several loads off one after another on 35 minute washes, then will sort for airers/radiators/TD after this last one is done, well actually after the next time I can have tablets. Mam is coming over with DS1s birthday cards (as we'll be out when she can come tomorrow) so best just wander roudn with the sweeping brush....and put the kettle on but I am not getting out of my PJ bottoms, only Mam....
