I love the word 'burrouch' no idea about spelling but pronounced boo-rock, as in 'my hoose is like a burrouch!' (midden) :rotfl:0 -
Mr G is a policeman, has been for just over two years now and I'm still trying to get used to it! Especially when his hours are changed which means it clashes with something I'm doing. I'm not impressed as next week his hours have changed from 7-5 to 8-6 which is just a right pain and on Wednesday I was hoping to leave the house at 5.10 to go to WW but now I need to either take the children with me or see if my parents can take them. They didn't even ask him, just did it! That's what peeves me more.
Two of my creuset things are just 8 years old, the other 3 things I have no idea! Apart from they fact that they're black, very heavy and very well used!
I do sympathise...I try to look after my cops. I usually end up fighting over things like that (last minute change of shifts, cancelled weekends). No flipping wonder I'm on the old prozac. Still, as long as I'm fighting, my boys and girls are getting looked after0 -
Spare bed made up (it's a nighmare to do, as it's against the wall, and my dad doesn't like duvets, he likes sheets and blankets... although he's getting both this time or he'll freeze!), room put back together and door shut. The only bit I missed off the list was washing the floor, but its not that dirty, so I'm not going to bother...
WHY did I wash & dry stuff that's going to need ironing?I should have left it in the laundry bin until the study was sorted out!
Suppose I should make some supper... and cook the meat that's lurking in the fridge.
I also have a whole brie... and ideas?!
Valli - I've got 132 unthanked posts if you've got nothing better to doat a guess, they're on gas & elec or green & ethical... TIA :rotfl:

Summermoon - Blimey, that was quick. I paid for guaranteed Monday, but it was another £2.50ish for Guaranteed today which I thought was a bit extortionate. Make sure you sit down with feet up, appropriately garbed, fed and watered and enjoy a read!
Fireangel - love the name. We have a Fireangel in the study. It plugs into the light fitting. :rotfl:
I think I'm going for a wallow before Casualty.
