    I'll join you holly.

irie and Lady Liberty, the quote you want is on this website (about the second one down):

    http://thinkexist.com/quotes/with/keyword/rainbow/

    Hope that helps.

Big hugs to gryfon - I know how you feel - my cough is now in week 9 (might be 10 now, loosing track) and I still have a bunged up nose 3 weeks on from getting my cold. I was told that pineapple juice (not concentrated) is meant to be good for colds. May be worth a try if you can face it.

Have had a very lazy morning (still not dressed), laying in until 11, then reading lots of frugal living blogs and feeling quite inspired. If you're interested, one is a really good australian blog (I think someone on here posted it a long time ago):

    http://down---to---earth.blogspot.com/

She's fortunate to have a massive garden and grows a lot of her own produce, but also has some great recipes for homemade cleaning products and food as well as knitting and sewing ideas. Very interesting reading.

Well it's one minute til the HHC so best go get my timer.

    More washing in washing machine
    More drying in tumble dryer
    Bread finished
    Hair washed - headache easing
Coffee brewed - :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee: help yourselves.

DD has surfaced and still has a migraine from yesterday, so is doped up to the eyeballs because she's supposed to be going to a friend's tonight to arrange another friend's birthday party. BTW - it's not a hangover, even though she and her friends didn't come in till 3.50. She said the drinks in Cardiff (Oceania - sp) were very expensive!

DS is still struggling to get up as he was awake till 4-ish. Yet another tablet that won't work.

Sexymouse, I'm another fan of Rhondas blog. Excellent resource :)

Well, today so far, excluding the list I posted earlier.....kids are bathed (stinky little scoundrels) Kitchen spotless. Pie filling cooking. Whole downstairs decluttered and straight, once again. Cash paid off the credit card (Woot....it's coming down!)
Next job, after I decluttered my cup of coffee, hall stairs and landing hoovered. The kids rooms could do with setting straight again, but I'll leave them to do that ;)
Proud to be dealing with my debts :T

Oooo something for me to read! Although I've just gone from her blog to another one and I'm loving the pinnies on the children. All sounds very idyllic though, wonder if it's really like that.

Sexymouse - thank you for the quotes and the blog.

ETA - So now I need a file to create my Home Journal! Does that mean I can go to a Stationery shop?

My parents always looked for the rainbows. Whenever we see a rainbow, we think of them. When we were driving to the Crematorium, after my Dad's funeral, it was raining, but as we went on to the Motorway, the sun forced it's way through and there was a beautiful rainbow. I have a friend who photographs every rainbow she sees on her phone and sends it to me.

I really like this quote (from the page you posted):

“May God give you.......For every storm a rainbow, for every tear a smile, for every care a promise and a blessing in each trial. For every problem life sends, a faithful friend to share, for every sigh a sweet song and an answer for each prayer."

Thank you all for being my "RAINBOW"

    In my HHC I:
    • Put a load of washing away that had been hanging around the bedroom all week.
    • Put a load of whites washing in the washing machine.
    • Put away all of last night's washing up (including bits from cooking the flapjacks).
    • Fed the cat.
    • Made and drank a cup of tea.
    • Collected all of the new washing up and put it on the side ready to wash.
I have 30 minutes left until the WM will be done, so I'm going to wash my hair and get dressed in that time, before putting it in the TD and then putting another load on whilst I eat some lunch.

ETA think I'll put some vinegar in the kettle to descale whilst I'm in the shower as there were a few bits of limescale in my tea.

I have, well all of us have been out in the garden and talk about leaves.
One bush pulled out and roots dug up, all broken toys gone now just need to brush the path. One bike fixed other one will have to go to the shop. Hubby has the rubarb(sp) done and is going to cover the veg patch in muck.

DD now away shopping with her domestic from school (she's such a lovely woman) so DD is over the moon and i get peace for a while.

PF i was actually quite shocked at the prices as the kitchen wouldn't be anything that fancy, we did think b&q would be alot cheaper than the other quotes. Did think about buying a good second hand kitchen but don't know that much about it really.

Dusty thats what i thought think hubby is just panicking abit. Mind you i really wouldn't care if he didn't get it, it to me is a complete waste of money.

Right better get there and finish the garden then crack on with the list, will update later.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Lunches all done and sorted out the fridges whilst getting the stuff out - not much in there.

Can't open the top drawer of the freezer as the turkey crown has grown whilst it was in there! (yes I know it has expanded as it froze really), not sure what I'm going to do about it. I could defrost the freezer when I want to use it but there is other stuff in the same drawer and as it is a fridge freezer the fridge would have to be off too.

Back to the kitchen for a concentrated hour not a faff about like I've been doing so far.
