????? I use toothbrushes. Would you please enlighten me?

soak a cloth in vinegar, wrap it round the tap, put a plastic bag over the top and tie it on with an elastic band. That way the vinegar loosens the scale... but I'll try the toothbrush ;) Thanks!

I see Hawthorn uses this method too!

    Morning all :hello:

I can't remember what I was going to put as replies as being interrupted by DD again.

Todays list...hmmm, DDs room is actually quite tidy for a change but we're going into go in and have a juggle of things to see if we can get another set of shelves in there somehow for her new boxed toys or move stuff around enough to fit stuff in. It would be so much easier if she didn't have the the built in wardrobe in there which takes up an entire wall but is no good for storage for her as she can't reach the rail and the shelf she can reach has all the Xmas stuff on it

Right, I'm going in to sort the clothes...I may be some time, that's if I make it out *gulp*:rotfl::rotfl:

Dustykitten...I'm still yellow so thankfully not infected! Doctor did check me when I went to see her on Monday and it's not on my chest and she said it was a virus so they can't do much anyway. Just seems to be neverending though! I've been drinking lots of decaff coffee as it's hot and wet, herbal or fruit teas just don't really appeal ;) :kisses3: to you, hope you feel better soon.

Frodders - Isn't it funny how we both put breaking arm / wrist as one of the good things that have happened. It's certainly changed my outlook too. Now, if you'd asked me at the time if I'd have found it that positive the answer would have been NO NO and more NO!!!

Mudbath - I think part of it was having so much free time to think about stuff!

pigpen - well done on the cards!

johanne - hugs - hope you're feeling better

SummerMoon - enjoy your treat - let us know what it is!

ragz - hugs for you and DS - take it easy

kings981 and Sorting - welcome (to the madhouse!!)

Gryfon - more hugs for you too

Right, I'm off to the postbox and then to think about lunch .........

    Thanks froddington :D

I'm a bit limited in what I can do at the moment. Can't do anything noisy as Mr G is upstairs sleeping and won't get up till about 3 or 4 ish, same tomorrow and Sunday! Children are thankfully being quiet, watching Cbeebies (yes even then 9 yr old) and waiting for me to feed them.

Just thought I need to do a meal plan for the week. I have some mince so I can do spag bol and cottage pie, but I need to work out the other days. Need to get my budget back into gear again before I end up squandering the money when I really want this new wardrobe!
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!
