Oh my poor head! Bending forward to sort washing out didn't help it at all. Sorry for sounding all woe is me at the moment, I'm feeling sorry for myself though!

So one load out and one load in. Still waiting for dishwasher to finish. Suppose I should fold these dry clothes I have so I can put the wet ones out.

At the moment I'm struggling to keep on top of the basic jobs so no tidying is being done. One of these days I'll see my study floor again!

you soak cotton wool in vinegar, then tie to taps with rubber bands. Vinegar dissolves limescale......voila, clean taps

If you can't find rubber bands, have you got any rubber gloves that are past their best (holes in etc). Cut them up for rubber bands

Hello! So far today I have done a load of washing which is now hung up to dry, and washed the upstairs windows. Also spent 20 mins on the phone to Play sorting out about a rather nasty email I received from someone! Thankfully, the guy on the phone was brilliant and got it all sorted

Friday fun! - My Front Room

Level One
Clear the floor so that, at the very least, everything is in a box!!

Level Two
Vacuum floor
[strike]Wash windows[/strike] DONE ON TUES

Level Three
[strike]Sort through cupboard[/strike] DONE ON THURS
Put any discs back in cases and books back on shelves etc
Dust.. lightshades, curtain poles, games consoles/PC's etc

Extras

1. Wipe any dirty marks off walls and doors
2. Wipe down the paintwork & radiators

My one-a-day (or 7-a-weekend!!) list:

I was just thinking how impressed I am with the way the lists get done quickly by some people! Now please all tell me that your children are older and don't make as much mess as my three (four if you include the husband)

Although looking at the state of my desk it's not just them! However I'm sure half of the stuff on there belongs to other people (I don't think this lego drawbridge is mine) or it's stuff that DD2 has handed to me after "rescuing" it out of a box/drawers I've already put it away into!

Back from the vet, Woody now curled up with DS3 and DS2 who came with me - they can all stay on the sofa, watching tv and eating biscuits for quite a while.

Lil_me how are your burns this morning hun? Have you tried lavendar? Mine was much better covered (with a savlon hydrocolid dressing)

Gryfon I so know how you feel, I'm fed up of the snot, my nose and hands are like sandpaper and everything is such an effort - you are not alone (ps have you tried sudafed/steaming/drinking more clear warm fluids? - in the end my head pain was too much and that's why I got ABs - when the snot goes from yellow to green you are infected!)

Vanilla if you are contacting him via the ebay 'contact seller' link I'd wait until you hear - it is the holidays he could be away.

morning all i am lying in my nest with a cuppa and a strip of parrots my legs woke me this morning again i didn't get to sleep until half past six this morning so i am feeling a bit on the rough side. Ooh hazel just hopped up to purr all over me lol she is so noisy. I have loads to do when i finally surface and i may even get dressed today lol so i'll in open my post and see what i can do from my bed hubby has got up to feed the little people and get me drugs heehee

My two are 24 and 17, and are tidier than OH! :eek::rotfl::eek::rotfl:

DD keeps her room immaculate, DS tries, but as his health is poor, doesn't always do very well.

OH is going to barracks tomorrow to sort out stores and going climbing on Sunday, so DS and I will probably go out to play, then do a bit in his room and maybe start on the spare room for his GF.

OOOOH finally. Our car got written off in November. The cheque from the insurance arrived today. Yeeehaw. We're only going to get a banger with what we got.....£1350, but a banger is better than nothing I refuse to take out car finance.

Dustykitten...I'm still yellow so thankfully not infected! Doctor did check me when I went to see her on Monday and it's not on my chest and she said it was a virus so they can't do much anyway. Just seems to be neverending though! I've been drinking lots of decaff coffee as it's hot and wet, herbal or fruit teas just don't really appeal :kisses3: to you, hope you feel better soon.

Pink Fairy...my DDs room is a tip, I can't really say much as my room is a tip as well! However my excuse is that I have about 7 or 8 rooms to try and keep tidy and she only has 1! Also I've been ill and she hasn't.
