Hi Cazzie:hello:
Thats not good Hawthorn, hope youre ok
My first HHC was
S&S kitchen,
hoover through downstairs,
give kids their laundry to put away,
tidy more junk off the dining room table,
unload DW
Then got waylaid by DS who wanted a lift to the station, got home, he called the ticket machine had chomped his £10 so I go down there and hassle the ticket man till ge got fed up and gave me the £10 back, the drive DS to town (about 1/2 hour) to meet girlfriend who has forgotten her phone the drive home to phone GF's mate (number at home) and phone DS so they can find each other...... (keeping up? :rotfl:) then strip and wash the kids bedding, put stuff in BM to make dough, bol sauce stuff in the SC, do lunch and then catch up on here.....
So, anyone fancy a HHC 2.30-3.00?

Vanilla - may be worth a try with a local carpenter. DH is making our kitchen, and the rough sawn oak has come in at £500. What sort of kitchen do you have in mind? I found some very reasonable prices locally (about £1500 for solid pine 14 metres or so) before DH decided to do it.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0

Ragz i'd take it outside and give it a good shake then wash it again. You might want to empty your washing machine filter first though and check theres none left in the drum.0

Vanilla - Apart from shopping around for the kitchen, I would definitely look/ask around for a carpenter (word of mouth is best guarantee). I know of several people who had huge problems with B & Q fitters. There's probably somewhere on here that you could post for advice for someone local to you.DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

Struggling, but relatively sane, thanks. I start CBT on the 5th January, so hopefully that will help me overcome this once and for all

It's soooooo cold outside! Trying to plant some bulbs which have been waiting a couple of weeks. Got the cyclamen in (plants so easier) but now have 20 crocus bulbs to plant. Also just dug into a daffodil bulb...whoops! However did notice that for some reason it's upside down same as the one next to it I also dug up so I've righted those.
Suppose I'd better go out and help the children again!Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!
SPC2 #571 - trying to get as much as possible0 -
I can't keep up with this thread this week - mainly because I can hardly ever get to the computer because of other family members on it!
Anyway, this morning I've- changed all the bedding
- Done a bit of sorting under the stairs - it's tidy under there as I did it a couple of months ago and nobody ever uses anything that's under there (hmm, maybe I should just chuck it all out . Anyway I moved all the spare light bulbs from there to a cupboard in the kitchen, then got rid of some of the games which are there which nobody ever plays.
- Sorted out DD2's bedroom. Most of her toys are now in DSs bedroom as he has a big room. I did tell him I was going to swap over the bedrooms, but that didn't go down well:rotfl:. I've tidied up her toys, thrown out rubbish/stuff she doesn't play with. I'm getting rid of her dolls house to the charity shop as she doesn't play with it - it always looks like it's suffered a huge earthquake :rotfl:. She wants a stable for her birthday in a few weeks, so I told her she couldn't have both. Now there's a bit of space in her bedroom where she can put the stable when she gets it.
- vacced upstairs, now need to do downstairs
- Sent DD1 upstairs to tidy her room up. I've also told her to sort out her school bag as it's always full of rubbish. She has four storage boxes of 'stuff' which she hasn't looked at for about a year, so once her room is tidy she can start on those. She obviously doesn't need any of it, and if we have to move again this year I'm not prepared to lug it around again.
