  • does anyone know how to actually enter the answers for questions 28 and 29? Its multiple choice but surely needs a text entry field?
  • I had the same trouble, posted on the times web site in the comment box, hopefully they will amend the 28 and 29 questions/answers.

  • Question 15: If I’m reading correctly they’re asking for the airport, used by Ryanair, nearest to the destination city. If that’s the case I make the answer to be Rome; Ciampino Airport being 15km from central Rome: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rome_Ciampino_Airport

Question 10: A possible answer is Bristol. The Exchange, Bristol has a clock showing Bristol Time – the time used before GMT became standard UK time. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Exchange,_Bristol

I can’t find any Bristol “inclination” links though.

    a) Boeing 777 0.84Mach
    b) Airbus A320 0.78Mach
    c) Embraer 195 0.8 Mach
    d) Vickers VC10 0.86Mach

Thanks for your suggested answer. I have read online that the Vickers VC10 is no longer a commercial airliner, and the only operators are the RAF? If this is fact, then the Boeing 777 would be the answer. Good luck

Q10 - Big Ben - The tower leans slightly to the north-west, by roughly 220 millimetres (8.66 in) at the clock face, giving an inclination of approximately 1/250 from here

    So could be London?

Yes, I see now that the Vickers is only used by the RAF, therefore you are correct as they want the fastest commercial flight.

    Sorry :o

The quiz is running correctly now, however if you have tried to answer whilst the site was incorrect, it will come up saying that you can only answer once. I hav emailed their customer service again for advice.
