Dont know is anyone is aware Boots arent the only ones who sell soap & glory.
Its also a style icon, in Patsy & edina's fav shop Harvey nic's ,here is a selection of their stock .
We are in good company ,not that im not proud of being a boots lass but if people think I have got my "toiletries " from Harvey Nic's, that suits me !

The prices seem to be the same, but I bet they don't do 342 sales, extra points offers or gwps!

Edit: ooh, I noticed they have something interested called Feet Dreams that Boots doesn't carry (at least not online, anyone seen it in stores)?

went and picked up my first ever .com order today, which has arrived a day early, so excited to get my pink pamper. But like the plastic around it is completely ripped! like it wont even wrap around it as is completley shredded! Its only for me, so deosnt really mattter, but still! I dunno whether to complain. Can I do it via email? I hate talking on phone :(

Or can I return it to a store? and order another one?
There is an email, btc.cshelpdesk_team@boots.co.uk but the automatic response is they send you their phone number,, they do give you another email, but I waited 5 days for an answer on that one then gave up and used the phone. Glad I did, because they were very helpful and sorted out my problem very quickly.
And it doesn't matter if the set is just for you, it should be 'sold as described' and 'fit for purpose' be a SAD FART and complain, the worst they can do is say there is nothing they can do. If it is oos they might offer you points, to make up for your disapointment at their poor service. hth
  • Great to hear from you Mimi, and also to hear about Daddy Mimi and his progress. We all care about you so much, and this site has been pout-free for too long!

Hope things keep going well for you.

    Hi,

Just had an email from Boots about a complaint going back to before Christmas about a missing order and problems with the website.

Maybe most of you already know this but just in case anyone doesn't (I definitely didn't!) I took the opportunity to ask about the items I bought in store yesterday showing as significantly less online. They stated the don't price match in any way and prices in store and online aren't the same and can vary, in fact the email says 'items are often cheaper online!'.

I had no idea about this....makes me very wary for future.

can you use 2 points vouchers at once? got 2 and not sure which scans at 500 pointsx
You can if you find a helpful SA (Some SA's won't let you use more thatn one voucher) or use the self serve tills, but only if the bar codes on the vouchers are different.

    Thanks for the replies.

Thing is I can't bare to touch it. It's completly numb all around the scar - I know this sounds daft but it feels very odd too - like it's not part of my body. Don't know if I can manage rubbing something into it.

Does that make sense? Lol probably not at this hour - but I can't sleep, been up now 21 hours and still bright as a daisy!!
I know what you mean about not being able to touch it...I have the same problem with a very tight mastectomy scar. I now save up my Boots points and buy Chanel No5 Body Satin Spray...it's beautifully moisturising, I don't have to rub it in, and it smells FABULOUS. OK it's almost £30 per bottle, but we deserve it.

  • Regarding the putting stuff in your basket making stuff oos as boots class it as a pending order, surely this isnt the case as many a time ive put stuff in my basket only for it to disappear and lots of people had things pinched from their baskets at checkout etc. :)

Yes exactly all those posh people are missing out on an advantage card & discounts.
Re -feet dreams. It does look good .I had a snoop around the internet and it seems it was discontinued at boots a while ago- drat at a bargain price. However it is still at sale in dear Harvey nics and in USA .
It seems to have got good reviews .
