omg! I can remember those, and the rubber buttons! Mine has the sussies cut off but some peeps still had them to hold up their grey lisle stockings :rotfl:
I wonder if Boots sold them?

Keeping it on topic, I've just done the Boots Viewpoint survey. It seems Mr B is toying with the idea of offering more instore services such as kitchenware, mobile phone sales, insurance, teenagers clothing, gas and electric providers to name but a few. Hmmmm..... could be interesting, I wonder what they'll choose?

I hope it's gas & electric. I use extorniate amounts of both with a large family, and my heating is always on more due to my eldest's poor health. I could get her lots of goodies from Boots with all those extra points :j

just got back from the royals store in Southend, they had quite a few pantene sachets and about 5 olay GWP. ... snipped
Went in to Royals and olay GWP still there. Picked up 2 with wipes and toner but SA went straight to GWP and said it was free only with olay definity! I said I must have picked up the wrong stuff and I'd go and change it. Went to another checkout and it went through fine so thanks for the heads up vicki83. Wish we had SS tills.

A sale. What sale? When does it start? :rotfl:

Last year the online 75% started around 3am on the Wednesday.

have you seen how much stuff is in the market place? Arnison centre is bare in comparison!

went and picked up my first ever .com order today, which has arrived a day early, so excited to get my pink pamper. But like the plastic around it is completely ripped! like it wont even wrap around it as is completley shredded! Its only for me, so deosnt really mattter, but still! I dunno whether to complain. Can I do it via email? I hate talking on phone :(

Or can I return it to a store? and order another one?

  • Well, had a very carp morning bootsing today!!!

No olay gwp, no pantene sachets, no reduced no7 and not a lot of sale stuff either in The Middlesbrough Cleveland centre store. Couldn't find a reduced shelf either:confused:

Does anyone local know of any reduced bits and maybe where I could pick up an olay gwp from on the Teesside area - would very much appreciate any help:A I scoured the whole of the shop looking for all these things!

My mum uses olay definity and would actually buy some for her birthday in feb if I could find a gwp!

Got three blinkies though - bought some swimming armbands and a potty for the girls and a s&g handwash (used the £2 coupon) with a meal deal so 3 x shops at just over a fiver each on stuff I needed anyway which aint too bad but no big bargains (where's the stroppy smiley when you need it!!!)

The entire box was bashed in when I got mine, but I didn't complain, didn't think it would really warrant it as the contents were fine

Ive just noticed that i didn't receive any bonus points from my .com order i put in a code for 500pt for a £50 spend it took it at the time and was still there when i checked out but i have only received the normal points. If i ring cs and they ask where i got the code form where can i say?

Just say you got it from the ACM hun, thats where most of them come from. Or from a leaflet sent out by .com with an online delivery. I don't think they'll query the origin tbh as there are usually quite a few online codes floating about at any one time so they are well used to peeps using them.
