Did 3 shops today, but I haven't impressed myself with my bootsing prowess! But in my defence my head is clogged with snot and my brain obviously wasn't working as it should!
Shop 1
Boots cherry sore throat lozenges £1.36
Boots b/currant lozenges £0.68 with bogo1/2p voucher
Calpol 6+ fastmelts £2.63 had £1 off
Boots nirolex cough syrup £2.23 with 50p coupon
Boots multivits £0.97 150pts coupon
Boots cold &flu b/c sachets £1.85
Paracetamol £0.38
Handed over my 'save £2.50 wys £10' coupon and it wouldn't scan. Said that it should as my total was £10.10 but SA was having none of it and said I had already used three coupons. So then I handed my double points one over with a smile!
Total spend: £10.10
Points: 242
Saving: a paltry £2.18
But I got a blinkie!
Shop 2
No7 deeply moisturising lipcare (reduced) £4.38
No7 shimmering lip & eye screen (reduced) £2.82
No7 shimmering lip & eye screen (reduced) £0.00 3 for 2
Mark Hill mini hair spray £0.00 moc from hairdryer
Pantene 2 in 1 £1.85 100pts
Boots tea tree shampoo £1.26
Used blinkie
Total spend: £4.16 (should have added a pantene sachet)
Points: 112
Saving: £12.39 better than last one!
AND lovely SA gave me another blinkie!
Shop 3 The new blinkie was already burning a hole in my pocket so went and raided the reduced section again!
No7 P&P Aftersun (reduced) £4.41
No7 deeply moisturising lipcare (reduced) £4.38
No7 shimmering lip & eye screen (reduced) £0.00 3 for 2
Used blinkie and 200pts wyb no7 skincare coupon
Total spend: £3.79 (should have added a pantene 2 in 1)
Points: 204
Saving: £7.82
If I had spotted it, I would have got both of the deep moist lipcares together but I only spotted the one.
Don't know if anyone is from my area but Kettering store has a lot of reduced No7 items on the end of one of the mens section aisles. Lots of sun care stuff, glossy locks spritz, day and night beauty fluids (green ones) and some pink day and night creams in tubes (can't remember the names). No Olay GWPs though!0 -
My little Boots doesn't even have a slot for the Pantene sachets, and no GWPs to be seen, either on No7 or Olay. Or any reduced No7 come to think of it!
I got a blinkie though, bought a sandwich, 2 Pantene 200mls conditioners, which I will use, and got my 200 points.
So I'm off to another couple of Bootses after work0 -
sophisticated. wrote: »Warning about filling your baskets - when I did that before 50% off sale, the next time I logged on I had the generic error
That happened to me last year. When I sorted it out, the items were still there but at full price. I had to take them out the basket, and put them back in to get the reduced price to show.
It sounds like the easy option, but if everyone does it all sale items will show as OOS, as items in the basket are classed as 'pending orders' by Boots
I couldn't order at all from the 50% sale this year due to a long standing generic error ~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
my boots today had no reduced no7, no pantene sachets and not admit it s&g set either when you spend £12!!!
I did however get a r&b brush with my blinkie and 100 points for my pantene 2 in 1 and got another blinkie. I'm kind of getting the hang of it by OH was with me so didnt want to look around too much, will try a bigger boots tomorrow!!!0 -
I am so looking forward to the 75% sales especially now i have seen how much stuff there is left instore! but I am now thinking maybe I will order some of the larger things on .com as I'll never be able to carry them (especially as i hate paying for parking and park miles away!).
I don't use .com very much and not used it for ages. is there a code for extra points anywhere around?
now when i ask this next question please bear in mind that I have been focusing on the instore sale!! I know no one knows for sure but approx when does the online sale start? if I have a rough idea that would be great as if I stay up till all hours every night I will be kn...very tired!!
please don't all shout at me at once!
Hi Bunbun, I am still catching up so I don't know if this has been answered. My information is that the online sales starts on the same days as the instore sales. But only time will tell if this is rightAs for what time - that is in the lap of the gods, and generic errors.

Rang CS up and she added the missing points no problem. I had lost my ac card and put a request in on- line for a replacemnt one but i wasn't sure the request worked so i just asked as i have now found my card and CS said that the request had gone through and now have to wait up to 3 weeks for a new one
 so i can't use my points at the sale and i can't use extra pts vouchers without out it if i spend in store:mad:
If i got some pan10 and got SA to validate the receipt would i still get the offer points as im sure an sa has said to me before you need your card for these extra pts to be added auto.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0 -
If the sale goes 75% online tomorrow will that mean that 75% instore will def be next wednesday?
I've got an appointment to register the baby next week but am thinking I may as well change it to wednesday and only have one days bus fare to pay.
I want to go and spend all my points and my local have already got no sale stock left according to my sister  .A silent (but still proud

Has anyone found a good use for the £2.50 off £10 healthcare coupon? I tried it with 3 boxes of soap powder (half price health club of course) but it beeped. No pantene sachets in my local even though I asked SA.
I used mine when buying the Bachs remedies which are currently on 342 instore, so it was a double saving. The extra pts are not available instore though.~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
There once was a woman, her name SandraScarlett,
Who shopped with a vengeance, and looked like a starlet.
Her coupon collection was a sight to behold,.
Her resolve was focussed, her Bootsing was bold
Be bewarned the SA that won't give her her rights,
She knows what she wants and she'll put up a fight.
For Scarlett made Bootsing and glitching a passion,
Just pennies kept her in style and in fashion.
Amassing her points now with each item sold,
Could spot offers from space, or so old stories told.
Using each glitch for spectacular ends,
And sharing her secrets with her grateful friends.
Her humour was legend, her wit was warmhearted,
Except when telling us all that her other half farted...
So with vouchers aplenty, and wisdom in pearls,
Look out Mr B, 'cause, well,
Here come the girls!
Absolutely fabulous!!!! :kisses: :kisses:0 -

I think that no matter when the sale goes online, the 75% off will be in-store 14th Jan. Many people, including Boots employees, have said that date on here, and many people have been told that by SAs, so I would plan on that being the day to be at Boots if you can.0
