  • hi allxx

    just 2 quick questions:-

    * i used a £5 roc coupon to buy a roc product (product cost exactly £5) - i'm having second thoughts about it now! - if i returned this product - I still have the receipt what would happen?? - would i get £5 money back/boots store credit-vouchers/gift card??????

*also can i exchange unopened packets of botanics/no7 wipes without a receipt????

would be really grateful for any replies -thanksx
  • Hi Aggie, yes the glam bag and the grab bag I had both had a £2 voucher in them. (Have had a few problems using them mind you!!) The very large case which was £30 to start with, dont remember the name, didnt have one in tho, neither did the tin with the hand cream

Guess what I had for Christmas lol!!!!

My grab bags arrived from boots.com this morning. I opened one but no voucher:confused:

Can people confirm there should be one.:A

So, what's the best bet to prepare for the 75% off sale online? Keep the items in your favorites, or in the basket? Sounds like you run the risk of generic errors, etc., if it's in the basket -- but if everyone else has the stuff in their basket, it will show oos for you in the favorites?!

Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

I've just taken everything out of my basket and into favorites and already items are now saying oos (the no7 party purse etc) so not sure which is the best option keep in basket and may get a error or add to favs and then have everything go oos. Dilema or what lol

Has anyone found a good use for the £2.50 off £10 healthcare coupon? I tried it with 3 boxes of soap powder (half price health club of course) but it beeped. No pantene sachets in my local even though I asked SA.

You can use it for vitamins and supplements, list of the. com ones are here. Some are on 3 for 2 at the minute so get one free and get £2.50 off total price is a good deal.
This is what I will be doing tomorrow.
    Supplements include bach remedies etc.
edit- oops polllsdolls seen you answered similar. I started to reply and took too long !!

  • Afternoon all. First of all, mega thanks to cave for her fantastic poem! Look at the talent that is lurking on here!

No, Nuninge, English wasn't my first subject (BS was), but I love the English language, and cringe when interviewees on the TV/radio, pepper every sentence with "yer know"!!!!!

Re the question about stuff for scars, Bio-oil worked brilliantly on mine after breast surgery, and my scar has now faded to just a silvery/white-ish line.

The question about HR's influence is basically that they always have to be on the lookout to check that streamlining the workforce, in order to improve efficiency, won't be seen as a way to cut the said workforce, by the back door. Waffle on, give some examples, prove your point and you should be fine.

We used to called HR "Personnel", in the olden days, about the time when my Mummy made me wear a liberty bodice when it was cold, an amazing garment with rubber buttons. Remember them Polls!!! Wish I'd worn one today!:rotfl:

DIL phoned to say her DD had lost yet another one of her school jumpers (they've only been back to school a day), and was there any chance that I'd be going to Lakeside and could get some. Well, I ran to the car, and off I went - can't turn down an errand of mercy!

Got the jumpers 3 for 2, and then went to Boots where the whole of the ground floor was crammed with gifts. Asked a couple of SAs if they knew when the sale started, but they just shook their heads. Then they looked at each other in a conspiratorial manner!!!

Went upstairs, got 6 Pantene sachets, got my Blinkie, then produced second basket, which contained ...... 4 Olay GWP, and 4 packs of Olay wipes! :j :j

Passed them over, 2 at a time, so that I got 2 more Blinkies, :T :T which was great! The eye care booklet inside the GWP has a £5 coupon which expires at the end of June.

I like Olay wipes, and I am now using my free-ish Roc ones for bathroom cleaning etc, so this made me feel better, as I was truly making a P, so I could get my GW!!

So, if you can possibly get to Lakeside next week, hire a charabanc if necessary, I think there will be enough Stuff For All!!! Gotta dash now, time to collect another DG from school!!

    xxxxxxxxxx
