I have spent a lot of cash in boots in the last 2 weeks and cant really afford anymore as were going to paris in 2 weeks and witht he euro at such a low price im gonna need as much money as possible.
So im tempted to use my points, but i really want to save them for xmas 09.
Someone please give me some wise words as to what is best to do.
Maybe get the things you know you will use (even if it will be six months before you need to use it), and pass on the rest? As to things for gifts, just get stuff if you know someone who would really like it (rather than a random gift for an unknown "somebody"), otherwise leave it.0 -

I am of the opinion that there is no pointing in buying something just because it's a bargain price. To me it's only a bargain if it's something I want/need/will use. Otherwise I'm just frittering money away, which could be put aside and used for something else.
Or put it another way. Say you have £30 to spend in Boots this month, and you spend it all on reduced stuff just because it's cheap. Then next month, you don't have that spare £30 to spend in Boots, but the new limited edition No7 Spring range is out and you haven't got the spare moolah to get it...And you think "if only I hadn't spent all that money last month" See where I'm coming from?
Of course if there's stuff in the 75% sale that you really want/need/can use/can allocate as presents and won't sit around in a drawer for ages gathering dust, then FILL YOUR BOOTS :rotfl:
(Pardon the pun)

I think im just gonna spend the rest of my pinkies this month on No7 as im using a lot of that at the minute. But ill wait till were back and only use our left over spending money. I hate clutter and i hate hoarding things in cupboards im more of a use it or loose it person, so the thought of having cupboards full of stuff for months will drive me nuts.
When the 75% sale hits im gonna go soak in the bath with all my lovely products and stay there till everything is OOS. There is nothing i really need and if i hadnt found this thread i wouldnt even know that items would be reduced further. Unless the S&G glove story goes to like £3.50 ish then i might get a few of those as both the body wash and righteous body butter is heavenly.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T

I too have bought a few no7 nail varnishes with the last pinkies and it didnt even last 1 full day without chipping I was not impressed and will not be buying again pinky or blinky
Flipping No7 nail varnishes...I NEVER LEARN!!!
Damn things always chip really easily and I always say "I'll use these up and won't buy any more"...and then new colours will come out and I'll go "ooh that's pretty" and suddenly find myself back at the car a little poorer and clutching a new nail varnish
Bad Buffy, bad Buffy, bad Buffy!
*Edited to add* Still reading back and have now spotted the comments about the varnishes lasting better on toenails - this I do agree with *wiggling Very Petal coloured toenails under desk*DFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :TDAVID TENNANT CAN PROBE ME WITH HIS SONIC SCREWDRIVER ANYTIME...:AFLYING THE FLAG FOR THE CAMBRIDGE BOOTS TARTS :happyhear0 -

I agree, don't buy anything you don't need or will use in the next year. I PLAN to go with a list of people I need presents for over the next year, & will just buy specifically for individuals rather than the usual random assortment of "that will do for somebody" type buys. Whether my plan works our depends on my self control when I get in the shop though.......it's weak at best, & when faced with 75% off I just may not be able to stop myself!0 -
Has anyone found a good use for the £2.50 off £10 healthcare coupon? I tried it with 3 boxes of soap powder (half price health club of course) but it beeped. No pantene sachets in my local even though I asked SA.0

This has happened to me before, I rang CS and they just add points on for you, I didn't tell them where the code was from and they didn't ask!!
