I sympathise with your situation but have you not thought about working yourself to get some additional money for the kids.
As has already been said, not all women who have had planned children and then been left by their partners live off the state, and in any case he has a legal duty to contribute a modest amount to the upkeep of his children.
OP nacsa is the way forward. Please keep the emails where your ex has mentioned contact with the children and child support together. The two must not be mixed, and it seems he is just trying to railroad you.
I have recently has similar communication from my ex offering less than the csa amount and not mentioning the arrears which he thought I didn't know about. Ridiculous. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Stick with the CSA. It took them 2 years of pursuing my ex-husband to FINALLY get cash out of him - they eventually took it direct from source from his wages. If he works give his national insurance number to the CSA.
Please dont agree to his blackmail, you and your children deserve the arrears.
My final point is that if you NEVER manage to get money out of him, then your children will be aware of this and he will have to explain himself in the future to those who matter most.Light Bulb Moment - 11th Nov 2004 - Debt Free Day - 25th Mar 2011 :j0 -
