Hello all,
Well a lot has happened since my last update. Work is going well that PP, although its a lot less work for a lot more money... never thought I would hear myself saying that one!
Moving back to my dads Easter weekend, spoken to work and they are happy for me to do flexi time to miss the traffic and work from home one or two days a week, which should really help out with the commuting costs. My bf is being very supportive and we shall alternate visits and his parents are really cool about it too, they've told us to look after the house and treat it as their own when they go on holiday etc so that should help out.
So, I'm slowly going to start putting my life back into boxes. My dad is really excited about having me home, and it will be nice to spend time with both him and my brother so I am beginning to look forward to it. (Just not the drive to work and back!)
I'll post a better update with revised SOA's and stuff when my head is a bit clearer, but for now I'm happy I clicked on the bookmark and have come back!
Have a lovely day everyone0 -
glad everything is sounding more positive, it's only a short term pain for what will be a long term gain. I have a friend who does Poole to s'hamton daily and i used to gripe about commuting 30miles!
I wish i'd ended up like you - we had a reorganisation a year ago and i've ended up with more work, the same pay and an office full of muppets.0 -
Hiya! How's things? How's living back home again working out? Hope that work is still going well and that the commute isn't driving you up the wall.0
