Im flying to MURCIA/SPAIN in 2 weeks
Quiet but should be nice weather and very cheap flights/accomodation(£35 return/£100 per week)
Lots of history and scenery
Nice. I love going to cultural places.
Though this time the no.1 concern is to get the vitamin D manufacturing up, and start 2009 well, and for that mainland Spain isn't a sunnier enough winter.Instigated terrorism the road to dictatorship.0 -

If you enjoy cultural places rent a place up where i live (Leeds) and be surrounded by every culture you could imagine. Then, go for a quick sun bed every other day and you'll save a fortune and experiance what you want.

Tenerife seems like the easiest option...........though Goa or Namibia, or Mexico or Florida............well, i'd go practically anywhere as long as it was pretty much guaranteed 18C+ and mostly sunny.
Any idea how much a 14 day hoilday in Goa should be??? (if i'm taking a long haul flight i've decided a 10 day minimum).
By the way, i was quoted £411.91 (return flight is £135) for 11 nights, single room, bed & breakfast, 2 star Acuario Hotel in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife (return flights from Manchester to TFS - 9th-20th January). What do people think of this?Instigated terrorism the road to dictatorship.0 -
Not a lot!
If you want a cheapie, have a look at www.cheapholidaybargains.co.uk Not used them but they seem to have numerous late deals to Canaries from Man 10days for under £300 half board. Doesn't say anything about minimum occupancy. I've never found this a big prob in Canaries in winter when I've travelled alone TBH , as there's loads of spare capacity in hotels then. Half board will save you a bomb on eating and drinking, esp with the exchange rate as it stands.0
