The NHS and met office have teamed up to give peeps with your condition early weather warnings so you can plan your life accordingly. I would ask your GP's nurse about it anyway, you may have slipped thru the net by mistake. She will have leaflets about the condition or you could get in touch with the British Lunch Foundation or look at theier website.
My OH won't wear one but Ideal World sell something called Poloponcho from time to time which would be ideal for you.
PS they don't have any at the moment but it looks like theres some available on ebay (and cheaper than IW!!)

It's never too late to stop smoking. You can't reverse the damage but it can only help not doing it now. Well done for stopping.
Totally agree with your post and LOVE the typo!0 -

Oops! thanks for drawing my attention to that...do you think I was getting hungry??!!:wave:0 -
But all the things you list are the results of agriculture and industry. Our bodies evolved before we invented agriculture or industry and we have pre agricultural/pre industrial DNA. Those cultures that continue with a pre agricultural lifestyle do not have the diseases of western civilization. No pasta?
No potatoes?
No BREAD?????????
I might as well go get measured up now
Oh, just noticed no sugar, that's okay then as I don't have a sweet tooth and a bag of sugar lasts year before I throw it out. Phew! :rotfl:
If like me you enjoy eating lots of food and don't like going hungry or find portion control difficult then eating as much as you like, but cutting out those foods that stimulate hunger and fat accumulation, simply makes weight loss very easy. Dr Dahlqvist's plan is the one I used but there are plenty of others in a similar style. My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

Oh bother you've amended your spelling...I spent an amusing (confuzzled
) couple of minutes wondering what he heck lunch had to do with anything! Didn't quite get round to looking up the lunch foundation though :rotfl:
Thank you for all the info/links Ted_Hutchinson, some interesting reading there. I was just kidding about the pasta/potatoes but I've just bought a bread maker and it's almost as addictive as cigarettes  . However I know I have to restrain/retrain myself, it's just a small matter of will power of which I have little when it comes to a nice fresh slice of hm bread with butter and Vegemite - at least that's not bad for me!

lol you can easily lose weight eating as many carbs as you like, SW are like that, you can eat them till you burst & lose. It's not what you eat but how much! For some anyway I know some have medical issues. I hated walking & lived in the gym until I got the mutt, now I love walking! I'm even wishing she'd hurry up & finish being in heat so we can walk again! If the dogs are too strong have you tried dog obedience? They shouldn't be pulling!
Swimming when I went to the pool that wasn't part of the gym was just one session a week women only, unfortunately some bug the hell out of me as they walk in a row of 2/3 and don't move, if ya want to gas don't go swimming !!!!!!! lol I go either to the gym pool or to normal sessions where people actually go to swim. It's fine swimming dead slow & stopping to rest but omg i'm suprised some don't have a cuppa while they're at it lol0 -

It never slowed him down either, he pulled just as hard but choked himself along the way, the silly moo. This is the one that goes round the snout, and over the neck one?
No, this one is basically a collar which has two thin cords (inside padded covers) which go under the dogs armpits!
I was sceptical at first but it works like a treat - we tried a headcollar on my mums dog and she freaked out, so went for this one instead - it makes it far safer for my mum to walk her.0 -
ooo yeah as someone above said aqua aerobics is fun & fine for non swimmers as it's in shallow water as long as you're happy in water you can stand in!0

Hi Sparrer
That polo poncho thing I mentioned before - it popped up tonight on Ideal World. Trust me to get it wrong it's called polo pancho. Doh!
Anyway, they are available in various colours from the IW website, no P&P to pay either.
Ideal to keep your breath warm, if you know what I mean!

Is it, sorry I've never heard of that one, I'll try anything. I'll have a look in our Pets At Home shop. Thank you :cool:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

If that is so how is it possible that I can easily maintain my lower weight status even though I daily eat more calories than required for my Daily Basic metabolic rate and because of my underlying condition lead a relatively sedentary life style?UKTigerlily wrote: »lol you can easily lose weight eating as many carbs as you like, SW are like that, you can eat them till you burst & lose. When I was eating carbs I was gaining weight.
When I ate strictly according to this plan not eating as many carbs I lost weight.
If I now include refined carbohydrates I gain weight.
My weight gain/loss scenario is determined by my refined carbohydrate/alcohol intake.
If all calories are equal as far as weight gain is concerned how come experiments like this show certain oils predispose to increased weight gain?
If you studied the matter you may come to understand why I use Coconut oilMy weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program
