Hi guys,
Sorry to hear you are all poorly
I have the cough but not the cold - so annoying!
Can anyone tell me how to do the 'hold tummy in' with out running out of breath:rotfl: I tell you I thought I was going to pass out at one point. Clearly not doing it right, either that or it's this cough. I sat at my desk and thought right, new year be good and all that but it just wasn't working for me today. Start again Mon.
BW - I think it's a good idea putting off the wedding too. Ignore your friend, as long as you and partner are happy with the decision it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Well done on the payment to credit card :j

Just wanted to say hi and good luck. I have similar aims to you this year so will be monitoring your progress. I think your decision to postpone your wedding is a good one, it will be the most fantastic day and even more so if you are not worrying about what it is costing you.

Evening all, hope everyone is enjoying their weekends.
I'm pooped and still have things to do!!
Rags- thanks for the assistance, def doing it wrong somewhere. Abs were never my favourite thing...must work harder at it though. Everything is starting to feel tight after the xmas period!
2009 is most definately going to be my getting organised as well as debt free quest. No spend days for March = 3Money to joint savings 2009 = £100.00Money to personal savings 2009 = £0.000 -
Sorry to hear you all have a blasted cold and/or cough too...ruddy things. My cold must be good for my skin, the amount of water it has me guzzling.
Well two steps forward, one step back. Had the car MOT yesterday...£600!!!
We knew it needed some work but flipping heck. So that's another £600 added to the CC's and I have just paid £604 off them, I could cry.
I [strike]don't want to[/strike] am not going to bleat, one must be productive, so tomorrow (when I have some energy...still ailing at the moment), I will start sorting some stuff out for an Ebay-a-thon...gigantic sale ahoy.
As we have saved a couple of thousand pound postponing the wedding, I guess we are still in a better position than this time last week..."I must think positive, I must think positive."
Not posting much today, I am going off back to bed for a sulk, with a small bar of chocolate and a nasty gossip mag...I have been so good all week, I deserve it.
C u soon

Thank you Rags, the choc was very yum.

I have just noticed that WeightWatchers is having a two week FREE online trial...so I have signed up. I am not so interested in the pointing of food but more all the other info you get on the site, from exercises to tips on how to prevent habitual eating.
I have been watching Celeb BB and I know it's only two days in...but I don't instantly dislike anybody like I normally do on Big Brother...they are all being soooo nice. I can't wait for the cracks to appear. That scouse woman from Shameless is hilarious...so funny...I wouldn't like to live next door to her though.:rotfl:
I have just listed my first dress on Ebay towards paying for this bloody MOT...one of many no doubt (brand new, with tags, never worn, a pre-light bulb purchase).
I am adding this new bill to my CCard total...I still want to get it all paid up this year!!

Well my cold/flu thing has got the better of me and I had to have last night & tonight off work (unpaid boo hoo). It's a real bummer...the only good thing is my O/H gets paid on Friday and he has three days overtime in his wages so that can go towards the MOT too.
I really hate feeling so grotty, it means I can't be bothered to do anything. Normally I like to keep on the move so it's quite frustrating feeling dizzy everytime you stand up. Daytime TV is poop and I have eaten rubbish most of the day...so I am generally feeling sorry for myself.
I am going to bed now, hoping to feel brighter and ready to tackle our debts and my diet tomorrow.

hi Bam i've given in to the cold as well, i've been suffering since New years day and all in my own time ie hols or weekend, well i phoned in this morning, but i've felt so guilty today and bored because i can't concentrate on anything cos of the sinus headache so i'll go in tomorrow come what may. OH came home early yesterday and had a rest day today as he's not been feeling so good, he had a call tonight saying that he should have rang this evening to say if he's in tomorrow or the next day, how does he know what he's going to feel like tomorrow morning? they don't pay him either and have told him to get a 3 day cert from the Dr which is rediculous as they don't provide them. Also they have never told him before he has to call the evening before or the two evenings before. Just seem to make up the rules as they go along. grrr.
