when i got the phone the delivery note said i was charged £0-00 for even the phone (weird) so i didnt question it, until my bank ststement came through and the £10 cr was taken the same time as the £18 odd for the phone. hence why i questioned it after waiting so long since delivery.

For those that have activated their phones can you register it in anyone's name as I want to give it to my sister for her birthday or is it already registered in the purchaser's name? Thanks.

Just finally got through to a person on orange and despite the fact the email I received from them states the credit will be applied as soon as the phone is activated, I was told it would be 7 days before it will be credited.

I think its out of order that they mislead people like this.

As a goodwill gesture, he will credit the phone with 30 free texts, but these will only become active once the credit has been applied in 7 days!

Think I will get it unlocked and pay a monthly top up to another company!! Will not be buying from orange again.

Just seen your post..... yes you can register it in anyones name. Just registered my sons phone in his name

I replied to the Orange email saying that I wanted a J700 for my daughter and an E8 for the missus (separate orders) on Thursday last week. Got an email saying they would be with me in 2 working days and got them both yesterday. Regardless of the F210 issue, you can't complain at either of these phones for £18.50. Shame we had to go through the pain to get them though.

One question though - what is the best network for texts if I unlock both phones.

FINALLY GOT THE E8 THIS MORNING! CAME EARLY 8.00am....NICE LOOKING PHONE, ALSO GOT THE SIM READER AS WELL. I JUST HOPE THE £10 TOP UP DON'T MESS ME ABOUT!!!IF ANY ONE IS STILL WAITNG FOR THEIR PHONES, GOOD LUCK, PERSEVERANCE IS THE KEY!
