it can be unlocked by using software and the usb cable that comes with fone
as i have done to all networks in seconds no need to buy anything;) any one wants it just pm me and i will tell wot to download

ok guys this is how u unlock phone
ok install cd that comes with the fone for usb drivers then install software , then u need a program called free samsung tool, install it , reboot connect phone and pick ur phone on list then pick com 8 (for me it was)
and click unblock thats it

I downloaded that and couldnt get it to work, I thought I installed the drivers off the CD but might have just installed the samsung software. Can you also use it to flash the firmware?

u have install at least the usb drivers for fone off the cd
then install fone unlocker software on your computer reboot connect fone to usb cable start the program up ( phone unblocker program) pick com 8 pick fone model f210 press unblock easy

Thanks for the tip, Beanys. Managed to unlock my phone with the software, tried T-Mobile and O2 sims so far and both work fine. Just to clarify, to find the COM port that your phone is connected to, go to Control Panel > Device Manager and double click on Ports (COM and LPT). It should read Samsung Mobile USB Port (COM#) underneath, where COM# is your COM port.

Also, if you have had a previous Samsung mobile and still have PC Studio, just connect your F210 and PC Studio will automatically update your drivers.

I've installed the unlocker, but when I try to use it an error message comes up stating that a file is missing (sting.ocx) and it won't run? I have tried re-installing and tried to run as administrator to no avail. I am using Win Vista, any idea's?
