HELP! Ebay and Paypal trouble-and at xmas!

After bombarding Paypal with emails and sending them extensive proof that the straighteners were fake and sold by a third-party hacker, Paypal have ruled in my favour and I have finally got my money back!!!

Luckily that false email account must be used en masse so they were able to recover the funds!!

Will I use ebay/Paypal again?! Well..It's put me off:rolleyes:

It could be worth contacting the makers of GHDs, explaining that paypal are aiding the importation of fake goods by criminals, which is possibly money laundering?

Also speak to trading standards.

Problem is that Paypal have moved away from the UK to escape UK legislation, so there's little anyone can really do other than try to stop them operating in the UK.

I'm delighted thanks!

I've contacted trading standards for advice on what to do with them. I didn't want to just thow them away in case someone thinks they've stumbled in a bargain and ends up electrocuting themselves or something!!
