Lol am mad on this now - hunting for easy christmassy gifts that I can make relatively easily with my four year old and came across these. I was thinking Ben could help me put these together for my step sister and brother (they are 14 and 16) and I am making them a card each with money in but I could fill them full of chocolate coins for them and then the pots can be kept for them to put bits and pieces into. Plus I may decorate one prettily for my step sister in pink/purple and sequins and blue for my step brother. Also i have the benefit that my dad is usually down around Xmas so he can pick them up for me. :D

right am now off to look up more popsicle stick crafts and see if Ben and his brohter J can help me make any more presents!

    edit - spoke too soon

MRSMCAWBER your x stitch is just so brilliant, it's such a beautiful picture. I would imagine it's taken many hours to do. You've probably said and I probably missed it but are you going to frame it for your mum?

Thankyou :D -Yes I will frame it for her... I will have to wash, dry amd press it -then roll it around a kitchen roll tube and cover with clingfilm to keep clean until we go back to the UK ;) -then I can get the frame, mount and get some non reflective glass for it... out here frames aren't very nice -and very expensive... so it will have to wait....
"just" the background to do -I didn't realise it had more stitches than the actual figure  :rotfl: as it will look like this once done

Oh my word MRSMCAWBER, I thought you were nearly finished, it's going to be even more beautiful now with the background. A real labour of love. It's going to be the best picture. I really, really love it.:T :T :T
