thought you might like to see my Gnomes I made for Christmas. Everybody loved them, they have all named them, and no one has put them away saying 'A Gnome is not just for Christmas'.

  • I love the idea of a coffee morning - that would be great !! I get lonely during the day - I work with children which I love but when they have their sleep I am not sure what to do with myself and sometimes go for days without talking to anyone during the day - thats why I am here - everyone is friendly and supportive - it works for me x :T

I can't make cards, I lack imagination big time and colour co-ordination too. I see the lovely cards on here but I just can't put one together, well not one that looks like anyone would want to recieve it LOL

I very much doubt this! I can see my card making improving as time goes on just by trying new things. Even if all you do is buy some stickers or card toppers, stick onto a piece of card around the same size and stick it on a card blank with some foam pads you have made a card :) then just add a 'Happy birthday' or 'Merry Christmas' to it and there you go. There are bound to be books in a local library or something you could use for ideas or there is a thread for cardmaking beginners on here. Give it a go, you'll love it I'm sure

    Hi All

I was going to post some pictures of the dolls I have been making on the Crafting for Gifts thread but cant seem to get the link to work. I have followed the instructions but it just says the image has been moved or deleted in a square when I preview the post. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong please?

soblivion - have you still got your christmas cards - if you have just go through them and cut off the pictures you like and the words 'happy christmas' and you've got all you need...........except the card and glue....and you can add bits and pieces, whatever you like really.
