Didn't really know where to put this, only good if you crochet but it's a free pattern and such a lovely idea for a stocking filler perhaps.
If you knit you could maybe make one up yourself or sew one perhaps?

Love this and my daughter collects pigs so this will be a nice addition to her stocking, my crochet skills aren't up to much so I am going to fashion this out of felt:idea:. Fingers crossed

Sounds good to me Mary. For my sock monkeys I used the stuffing out of a pillow, was pretty cheap, along with some marrowfat peas for the first one and some pearl barley for the second ones. I would make sure you put something a little heavier in for the dammit doll so it thunks nicely when it hits something :)
I didn't have a sewing machine either but sewed my monkeys inside out using a fairly long backstitch
icon5.gif Could dried rice be used in the dammit dolls:question:

I want to make some christmas decorations as well out of felt to hang across the dresser (snowmen, mittens, gingerbread mean) will I have to put some kind of thin foam or stuffing in them ? Can''t quite imagine them hanging right if they're just a piece of felt.

Hi mary - I made this from felt:

and cut up an old unwanted pillowcase to stuff it.

love the idea of the card boxes but need to hunt down suitable boxes
if anyone sees any let me know

I haven't been on here for a few days, so only just seen this. I got some brilliant boxes on Monday and Tuesday this week from Home Bargain. They would be perfect for this. They are a set of six Hallmark gift boxes rrp £14.99, HB price £1.99. They are available in gold or silver. There is one large box, slightly larger than A4, two boxes both half that size, then two smaller ones that fit inside the medium ones. They are really solid, sturdy boxes with lids. I was so impressed with my first set that I went back and got two more!

Also, brown washcloths for reindeers back in HB for 29p.
