thanks to this site this christmas I'm going to have a go at the pots of gold
I'm going to make a romantic night in for my brother in law and his wife as they've got 2 young children and don't get much time alone
    I was thinking
decorated candle, homemade heart shaped muffins , heart shaped chocolates
bottle of wine and a love songs cd any other ideas anyone ???
I'm going to make handmade biscuits and sweets and have already bought some lovely little whicker baskets to put them in
I'm going to make up and hope to sell at school bazaars
    snowman soup and reindeer poop
also love the whisk with the little chocolate balls in
'we whisk you a happy merry christmas ' of something similar might do that for the females in the family as well
I tried decorating candles and loved them so will be making some of those as well
keep the ideas coming they're all fantastic !!

This may be of use as it is the instructions for making small amounts of chalk board paint in colours and in small quantities http://www.craftathome.com/Instructional/chalkboardpaint.html

    Hi Donna 73
your blog is brilliant and the bags of cards absolutely lovely. The people I make things for are so appreciative of the time I spend rather than just rushing into a shop and adding more clutter to their lives. I myself am also trying to declutter my life and really love it when I get presents I can use-- fruit tea bags, wool, note books etc etc
The boxes are for sale here in Spain ( where we spend our winters and I have loads of lovely time for crafting ) There are about 5 in a set and all fit 1 in side of the other. I am sure they must have them in England I will take apiccie later and post it.

Thanks for kind comments about my cards. Elderly relatives in particular enjoy them as they dont have to trail into town to get cards.
Try and do a good deed every day.

Love your bag of cards Donna. I made a couple of boxes of handmade cards for Xmas pressies and they were very well received.

    Hi Wonderful ideas on here
I am planning boxes of home made cards, gift bags, tags and other little bits and pieces for gifts. The bags dont show up to well but are made using blue and green marbling inks. They look much richer in colour in real life

Hope they will be well received. I often use photos for the cards from the recipients own garden or flowers from their garden etc etc

I'm still waiting for my Kemps order so have come to a halt with the doll making. I found a nice Bear in the Bag knitting kit which my SIL bought and started and coudnt get on with so gave it to me last year. I put it away and had forgotten about it until I was looking for something completely different yesterday and found it. Have carried on from where she left off and finished the body last night and started the head. Am hoping I can give it to OH for Valentines day when its finished.

Not crafty but I just had the assessor round from Warm Front to see if they can help me with the heating in my home as I havent got hardly any and have had to move my daughter from her bedroom which feels like a freezer into the spare room for the winter. Have to wait now for someone from Swale Heating to come and give us a quote to may be getting central heating in.
