Hi everyone, I've just discovered this site tonight whilst browsing and think you've all made some fabulous things. I managed to make one hand-made gift this year, a lap quilt for my mum, as I just started patchwork and quilting this year. Next year I hope to make many more handmade gifts and will be starting in the next few days! Is there going to be a new thread for 2010, like there was for this year? If so, I'll be checking it daily for updates.

I'd back them onto some card first, and then they'll hold better, not sure how you'd hold them all straight and feed them into the laminator. You could leave a border around them, too, and put names on there or decorate them.0 -
Thanks theres writing on the back which gives details about the players which is interesting to read so want to be able to read both sides0

Thank you all so much for your amazing ideas. You are a very talented bunch. I've already started planning and have joined the 2010 thread but having waded through all 163 pages on this one I just wanted to say how inspiring you all are. Can't wait to see what new ideas you come up with:T:A:T:A:T:A:T:A:T:A:T:A:T:A:T:A:T:snow_laug HM Christmas 2010

Most laminators will come with a carrier sheet that you can use for jobs like this. Make sure you line them all up neatly then hold the sheet horizontally flat as it feeds through. When it comes out make sure to lie it really flatGod is good, all the time

Serial lurker here, but thought I'd pop up to try and help - when I read button, all I could think of was my Mum telling me to button my lip, so perhaps "Button - to remember that not only they but you need to button your lip sometimes" or something a bit neater/tighter than that.
hth?
