  • Just tried searching a few times within this thread to find the details of the mint chocolate tablet made with the strong mints, no joy, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Don't know if anyone wants them, but I have about 150+ small amererto(sp) biscuits - the little baked sugar ones that are served on the side with coffee. I got a box of 300 and have used them in my snowman soups and in rocky road/chocolates.

They make really nice rocky road but need to be eaten January (as per sell by as they don't have a use by on them)

I can't see myself using them, but if anyone wants a handful, or indeed the whole lot, as long as you cover postage and say if you don't mind them broken (as will need a padded envelope to ensure not broken up) then pm me and I'll send you a bunch.

I would love some of these please i have pM'd you:D

Well done ppmum! It's great to have something you've made yourself that you can take out each year and remember. Its a lovely tradition to start and I'm sure your kids will appreciate them (more) as they get older too.

  • Thank you, i really enjoyed making them and it's incredibly cheap. I used the microwave method as it's much quicker.

I agree these are lovely. Thanks for tip of microwave never thought of using it to cut the time down. I have done papier mache!! in the microwave, many years ago when making 20 Roman style helmets had a tight budget so decided papier mache would work. It did but boy did my kitchen smell.
