  • Hey all, I think I shocked my housemates yesterday with my geekiness :)
I was given an A4 book with 5 sections in and I have used the first one to list all the presents I bought and made for people (I made several hampers) and then completed a seperate list for the handmade gift with details of how I made it and how it was received along with a little picture. I'd like to take photos to include too

I used the second section to write a list of all the handmade/crafty gifts I could think of and then put a tick next to the ones I have made before (e.g. sock monkey) and then put a smiley/frowny to show how easy/difficult it was to make.

I'm gonna use another section to outline different people and what I would like to make for them to plan for future birthdays and Christmases.

I'm loving all the new ideas and am looking forward to getting cracking, thanks everyone!

Hi shaz - I can't work out how to make the picture appear rather than the url. If anyone can explain it to me, then I'll have a go.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

Thought these photocards looked quite nice.
I usually buy a pack of 10 from the poundshop, but might actually have a go at making my own for next year now.

Sounds like a fab idea here and not geeky at all!

I have a small photo album which contains all my makes in it and it fits nicely into my handbag so when people ask to see what I make I have this handy to show them.

Its good for getting some orders in too, make sure you have a price list of what you would like for each item and make some little printed order forms if you are lucky enough to get orders.

Those are really nice and look fairly simple to do.
