I went to the local timber merchants for my wood blocks. You simply choose the size wood you want then they select the wood carry it! and then cut it Voila end result 3 4x4" blocks less than £2.40 total! need to sand the ends down but other than that they are ready to use.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0

Hi everyone
For anyone whose ever made 'Gift in a Jar' cookies, can i ask what size jars did you use?? And if i'm using a smaller jar than stated how do i scale everything down???:D:D
I've never baked anything in my life so in need of a bit of guidance:D
Thanks

xxI am only me, no pretences, no second guesses.. It's the best I can do, I'm sorry if that's not good enough for you... I'm sorry I'm not good enough for you :A0 -
I have one of the standard blue bind it all's and I wouldn't be without it. I make loads of mini scrapbooks, note books etc. If you type bind it all into google many scrapbook shopps will come up. however if you check the shop against the recommended suppliers on https://www.ukscrappers.co.uk then you know they will be reliable....and they often have 'bundle' deals for the machine and the wires.

Wheezysmith they are fantastic I really love the pegs. Don't mean to be rude as I love them but what would you use them for please?Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0

No problems sethsgran, not offended in the slightest. Was going to either use them to peg my christmas cards to a ribbon to display them or peg a tag to a present. I think fiddlefarts idea was to put a magnet on them so that you could put them on your fridge. Oh yeh...just had another idea...could use them on your desk to peg special receipts together.0

The rings for the mini albums are only basic book rings.....you can usually get them from any stationers, and they are then cheaper than buying from a scrapbook shop!!!
I have bought them from Staples, Ryans, Smiths......should be easy to get....think I paid less than £1 for 6/8?
Could also use paper bags for the mini album.....or envelopes.....both easy to get and quite cheap!!! Depending how you fold/cut them you then get pockets to puts tags and bits in too!!
Good luck with your album!!
