Crafting for Christmas 2009, let's begin again.......

Im finally getting somewhere with the craft fair goodies - its fab once you get a little production line going (cut all the pieces, glue them all, then spend an hour or so watching tv while you stick them all together - the good thing about that too is you suddenly go from 0 completely finished items to ALL of them being finished!) :rotfl:
These are the mini star albums - theyre 5x4 inches and every other page inside has a place for journalling and is decorated - the circles on the front cover are the papers used on the inside.
These are all the cards i made with the offcuts of the papers left over from the above albums
Hope its ok to pop this on here but i know some of you visit anyway and you could get some freebies to make more fair goodies - Theres a giveaway of some Bo Bunny goodies on my blog and a link to the BB blog to enter another giveaway for the new range of papersWin £2012 in 2012 challenge 0/2012

Well done you! How have you kept the pages together on the star journal? X

I threaded a strand of ribbon down the back of each page - the star albums have one layer inside then another layer of the paper so the ribbon slots inbetween the pages. Fasten in a knot at the top and pull tight then fasten another knot at the bottom. They make fab little brag books for grannies etc to carry round pics of the kidsWin £2012 in 2012 challenge 0/2012

You're very welcome.
I do hope this thread starts up again next year as I've left it so late this year.
I'm hoping to make my girls a fairy in a box each using Fimo or something similar and making a little chest out of the Dove hinged soap boxes. The only thing stopping me is the wings. Does anyone have any idea at all what I would make them out of? Something delicate but sturdy enough to be handled and attached to the body?
I picked up a really cheap butterfly hanging thing with plastic glitter covered wings. It was on ebay and if I don't use all the wings I might be able to send some out. I'll make my thing then post here how many are spare.Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. Anne Lamott
It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?
