Hi all, ive been a follower of this thread for a while. I was in a shop and saw gold lindors on sale and i thought of a pot of gold for my lindor crazy friend.
But ive found out dark lindors are actually Black.
So, picking your craft brains.....
How could i use dark lindors "a pot of coal???":rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rolleyes:0 -
throwing my own ideas out there- a pot of snowman spares.

thankyou i was really worried people didnt like what i was making lol. It wasnt very hard at all i used some of the green oasis stuff that florsts use and then hot glued the sweets on, i have just read though that you can use cardboard so im going to try that next time.
It is about 8 inches high, but i bet if you made your own shape out of cardboard you could make them any size you liked.
Its not quite perfect as there are some small gaps but it was my first attempt, thinking of taking them to my christmas fairs with me and charging about 3-4 pound what do people think?back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed :beer:0 -
jpwhittle love your tree!!I am determined to lose weight!:kisses3:
Weight loss so far 2 stones 6lbs!! :j:j0 -
Great idea! I think if you used cardboard and spray painted it before it wouldn't matter if there was a gap in the sweets. I wonder if there was something you could use for the baubles, like having little lollies sticking out...
With the black Lindt I think the idea of a sack of coal would be a great one; if you could use a funny poem about her being naughty but nice and getting some coal for her troubleGod is good, all the time

Like on the card making thread earlier onRudolph spares where I suggested you could use red jelly beans ... then white sweets for snowman spares, you could use black beans for coal of some kind maybe?

how many craft fairs has everyone got booked so far? ive got 3 booked and just been told one school is desperate for something different and these would be different.
ive run out of glue now so im stuck for a bit but think im going to start my reindeer poop snowman kisses and the loo roll thing, OH wont be impressed that i need to go spending more money lol, hope it all pays of at the fairsback to comping in 2017, fingers crossed :beer:0 -
I don't know how any of you have time to do craft fairs, I am going to have enough trouble just making my gifts for friends and family!
jpwhittle I think the biggie is not just the product but the merchandising, I think the way people sell things says a lot, little price tags, samples to try, nice tablecloths...God is good, all the time
