for the jars as much as the beads.
Plus, if you search for "mug" then there are quite a few mug and spoon sets for 99p which might be really nice with snowman soup.Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. Anne Lamott
It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?
Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.0 -
I think Kevie did a great job of explaining to us in a patient way what the legal position is; please do keep posting on here
I think making soap etc is a little outside of my experience and I wouldn't like to start doing something like that without knowing how to make it safeThough I think we need to be careful with foodie gifts too but a lot of us know all those safety things already about cleaning things, making sure things get to temperature and sealing them and storing them well; I wouldn't attempt to make anything foodie without ensuring I wasn't going to give someone food poisoning.
So, paper crafts are really my thing; I went to the charity shop today and got a couple of really nice frames which I am going to do up. I made a shadow box for someone before and it had a really good response so might try the same with these ones. Some pics and some embellishments!
I also really want to make my mum a book like someone put on here, 'Things my mother taught me' but need to get a wriggle on, I would like to use a tin so that it conertina-s out but can you think of a product I can buy so that I can use the tin afterwards?God is good, all the time

Loving the bobbin advent candle!! bet it wouldn't look half as good with plastic reels!! Wonder if I could do this for OH ... or even something from the elf for OH and the kids but just a small one ... maybe just 6 long 2 for each of them!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Oh God, I'm so excited at the prospect of making so many of these crafty ideas!! I'm concerned that I make so many this year - how will I top it next year???!! (Oh well that's next year's problem!)
Just a crafty heads up that I've posted on the flannel reindeer thread - for anyone in the West Midlands - Wolverhampton area, I've just been to Hooty's (Willenhall) and picked up pom poms (mixed colours but loads of red ones suitable for reindeer noses) and bells (various sizes - silver & gold) for 79p each but they have loads of other crafty items there and at (imho) really good prices which would be good for some of the other crafty ideas.
I'm making a couple of the match box advent calendars and was wondering how to get the numbers on there neat enough to read but I also picked up a pack of stickers with multiple numbers for 99p fom Hooty's which are ideal for the job!MARRIED MR E - 22nd Dec 2010 - technically now sazzye!:j
