Check out Elna sewings machines new Facebook page... loads of great sewing tips and even a video of how to thread your machine!

I'm not allowed to post links yet... so search for Elna Uk on Facebook.

It's a new page, so not many fans yet... but there will be lots of useful tips and exciting info to come!
one tip i learnt from my aunt when i was a child on threading a sewing machine it has go go like a "N" backwards so when it is done it is a perfect "N"

Never thought I'd get so excited over a cup a soup:rotfl:

irishgirl - they're really cute...........wish I'd seen them earlier. Think I've got as many snowmen./snowball jars now as I need.............worth making note of for next year.

Been to little village craft fair -bought some hand made soap (small pieces 5 for £1) and some gingerbread men tags..........hoping I can back to back them and thread through some raffia so they'll go across our dresser.
Was going to make some little felt ones but can't see me getting round to that this year.

Hello everyone, I've lurked on this thread just about since it started and have made many creations you've all listed. Like most people money is very tight this year and my budget is very limited but thanks to all of you and your ideas I have orders for sock monkeys, dammit dolls, and a few photo collages/scrap books and I will net myself about £100 from it all.

Thank you all so much for the inspiration and I hope you all continue to be moneysaving and crafty!!
