Urgently need to do more crafting and NOT spend time on line!!!!!!!:rotfl::rotfl:
I get too many ideas. . . not enough time.
Doing lots of reindeer food for all nieces and nephews (10)
Off to do some bits now.... going to make the coloured sugar....thanks for the ideas people:T0 -
I really need to make more stuff but I just dont have the time at the moment. I dont have the money to spend loads on gifts so I'm trying to make as many as I can but finding the time is pretty much impossible!
Still need to:
- Finish cards (about 100 still to do because my mum wants me to make her ones too and only told me a few days ago)
- Make decorations
- Make wrapping paper
- Make presents for mum
- Make gift tags
- Make bookmarks
- Whatever else I've forgotten.... XD0 -
Half way through door hanger for other friend -that'll be two that need finishing off once I get some more embelishments to put on.
Street sale here today up and down our road.........got two bags (lady makes them) 50p each, brand new picture and number puzzles still boxed up for little grandson, plastic bag holder done like a doll with a pigtail (tempted to keep it) - weeny knitted monkey (PG tips) two candles, -forget what else without going back upstairs.................lol
Next step when I've finished the door hangers is to wrap up so I know what I've got............should have it all by now surely.................ooops.............no I haven't........still got robin redbreast breakfast flowerpots to do............. and possible some bookmarks..............if I get time..............lol
Oh, did get couple of things that might be worth making next year..........small flowerpot painted in cream and gold with a big fir cone and some plastic ivy round the edge.................very simple but perfect for our window sill.I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

my word mary-op! How ever do you find the time to do all the bits you do? nevermind finding bits for next year! Sounds nice though... sort of thing my MIL would like. mmm maybe I should borrow your idea for that.
Was it all the neighbours having tables out with bits for sale? or a 'proper' council organised event? sounds like it was fun.0 -

catherine - our street sale was organised by a few people in our street and the one next to it.....expect they had to get council permission..Been having them about two years now but supports dropped this year and there's talk about there being no more which will be a shame.
Only get time to do bits and pieces when I ignore everything else............like paperwork that needs going through, bathroom needs a wipeover(good scrub really.........lol) and so on.......lol
Well, got my door hangers done and managed to rummage about and find enough embellishments kicking around so don't have to buy any. Just ribbon I'm short of now.
Must do some serious 'wrapping' next week otherwise I'll not know where I am.I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
