I love the seagull bag! I think your stuff will sell very well because it looks professionally made, and is funky and bright
I'm sure sock monkeys will go down well too!
D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't importantTaste The Rainbow :heartsmil0 -

Carolee_Crafts wrote: »I have done craft fairs regularly for some years but must admit due to the downturn they have been very quiet of late, however I will try to answer your questions:
I sell my own handmade gifts and cards, stock levels well that depends on the size of the fair and the length of time. If you are doing a day fair you would need enough to fill your table plus maybe same again for under table stock and to replenish once sold, you can always leave some in your car so you don't go in laden.
Float of about £50.00 in change, a cheque stamp if you take cheques.
You would also need to check with the organisers as some will only alllow one type of craft per stall, so if you do jewellery that is all you can take etc.\
The first fair is scary but fun at the same time.
Good Luck
Thank you for this, very helpful. I have a stall at our town Christmas shopping day on 6th December. It's usually very busy so fingers crossed! I then have a stall at a craft market in a nearby town on 11th December, and then another one in our town highstreet on the last Sunday before Christmas. All of the independent traders on the highstreet get together each year to run a special themed shopping event with offers etc to encourage people to shop locally. This year is a Victorian theme, will be lovely! My stall is outside my favourite sewing shop, which is owned by my best friend's mum - handy!
Our town has just introduced a loyalty card scheme with each shop involved offering different deals each month, I think I might do some sort of offer for loyalty card holders. Do you think that would encourage sales?Grocery Challenge £5.43/£320.00
Don't Throw Food Away Challenge £0.00/£5.000 -
Being a bit of a 'bag lady' (loads of them I've got........lol) I just love the bags jenagain :T Very clever -they're beautiful:T
butterfly - scrapbook isn't what you;d call brilliant and hardly 'proper' scrapbooking really........its just a little book I got ages ago.........printed out a load of 'friendship' quotes off internet, added some images -I went for countrycraft style and I'll just add a few stick on flowers to it here and there. Just an extra present for her. Ever so easy to do as well. Mind you, did help that the book already had patterned pages so I didn't have to do any of thatI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
