C J - I have seen the baby sock purses in Claires and wanted to make them as presents butcant find the clasps anywhere that make them cheap enough to buy.

I finished the Twilight drawers today and am very pleased with the outcome. Now I want to order some of those blank rulers, pens and keyrings and make some of those up.
  • Decided to have a play about this afternoon and made some sock snowmen(thanks to owens3116 for this post http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1895357&highlight=sock+snowmen)

I've just been having a look to try and find purse frames too, and they are really expensive! I've found some on eBay which cost £4.91 for 5 (plus £2.58 postage), but they are only small (2" x 1.25").

The cheapest option is probably to hunt for cheap purses in charity shops, and try and dismantle them :)

Not very creative today - painter here doing one of the upstairs rooms, meeting with soc. worker..........lad we care for due to go out at 9am - left at 11.30am
Still, managed to make a little gift bag for sons girlfriends birthday (re-arranged her box of stuff) and having found upstairs a watch I had free with something, I covered a little box I'd got and it fits a treat.:j
Found old memo board I'm about to dismantle (well, try to) and hopefully use some of the cork on my place mats.......fingers crossed
