plus im loving some of the ideas on that thread that I might just make my nan and granddad a box of cupcakes/cake slices each as they like to have a little wash in the mornings.
or if i do a smellies hamper for my step mum i might put some cupcakes in there too for her and make a foody hamper but with bath bits.Time to find me again0 -
sammy - I think over the last year I've done flannel cup cakes, similar but in a mug to try and make it look like frothy coffee, yule logs, reindeer and little cup cakes with Happy Birthday across the top - I think I've exhausted those.
Love the cute little people but not understanding quite how they're made. Does it involve cutting the flannel at all because I wouldn't want to do that. With all the other things the flannel became part of the pressie.
Oh, and what's a nonnymouse ?Mary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

What about using your jar to make snow globes (if they have tight fitting lids)
They are really simple to do and the children - an adults alike love them.0 -
Hi All
Meant to ask early but here goes.
Ok sounds crazy but my son has an obsession with milk bottle tops. They get a free bottle of milk in school for their afternoon break time and he always comes home with about 4/5 bottle tops in his pocket.
I'm just wondering if anyone can think of any crafts i can make with them as I seem to be getting quite a collection now.
Btw - we only use green milk topsTime to find me again0 -
Evening all,
Just wanted to ask whether anyone has tried the Sirdar Easy Loopa Scarf kits? I just popped into Ho**ycraft on my way home and they had them for £2.99 reduced from £5.99. I bought 2 - one for me and a fuschia/black one for my daughter. Figured at that price was worth a shot. Just not sure how easy they are to make up.
Also bought some knitting needles to try to knit a few small bits and pieces - I'm a VERY slow knitter so figure that smaller projects may be better for me.
I didn't buy any wool as they didn't have double-knitting wool in the colours I needed (every colour but actually grrrr...) but wanted to ask whether £4.29 for a ball is a good price??
Best go - BGT ad break now over (multi-tasking as usual).

Hi there they are really easy to make there will probably be a video you can watch on youtube. I have made loads for friends etc and also made up a kit for a friends daughter when she was 13. I also helped loads of the ladies at church make them. My tip is to really secure the loops as you backstitch up the middle, nice and firm and experiment with yarn, I usually add a sparkly yarn but then I like stuff with a bit of sparkle. PM me if you need any more help:TNothing Changes if Nothing Changes0 -
