no, Spud, it's best I don't
I got one gift, which would have been at the top of some people's list, but it was amongst the most inappropriate things to buy me.
I've hardly seen him since 10am on Christmas Eve and when he is here, he has been asleep on the sofa more than he has been awake"Stay Wonky":D

BB,
(Spud knows my story)
I too shouldt complain about my Xmas gifts, so I shan't, but whilst they weren't inappropriate, they were thoughtless so you have my full and total sympathy hun. Im sorry.

I don't have the receipt - he does, and he would go mental if I flogged it. Even with a drama degree, I think I've not managed to convince him that the gift is 'fine' as he keeps saying ' you can change it if you want' with a real hurt look.
He left at 10am on Christmas Eve- I'd asked if he wanted to go out for a few beers - he said he didn't. 7pm I phoned to ask what he wanted from the chinese - 'something which will keep' - he was going to drop off his daughter's card and money and then go to see his mate, something he does each year.
1am - after a few curt texts from me, he turns up. Says he didn't know why he hadn't told me he wouldn't be around. Ate all the leftover chinese and slept all night on the sofa.
Christmas Day - he hadn't made it to his daughter's so he went there first. he always goes home to phone his family and his son pops round. I asked him to do it early (ie go around 9am) so we could spend most of the day together. He eventually went at 10.30 after sitting watching Sky Sports News. He arrived back at 2.30pm after I sent a text asking if he would be long. He fell asleep on the sofa at 7.30pm and briefly woke at 1am saying he would come to bed after the programme that was on. He got into bed around 5 after falling asleep on the sofa.
Boxing Day - he left around 1.30 after trying to get anyone he could to watch the football with him. He borrowed £10 off me and the match was already half over.
I sent him a text at 7.30 to say dinner was ready and he hasn't replied and he isn't at home..........the text took ages to get a read receipt which means he is at the club, reception there is awful, I was outside it one night trying to tell him I was there and text didn't go through.
5 mile walk home for him then as I've finished off the champagne I opened yesterday.
(Bun - remember that bottle I wasn't allowed to bring to your house as it was for a 'special occasion?' I thought fuff it yesterday and just opened it !)
I'm guessing he spent around £100 on the gift, so not cheap, but just very inappropriate, panic bought and basically useless to me."Stay Wonky":D
