Boxing Day...more turkey anyone!!

Morning Everyone

Had a lovely sleep last night although could quite easily have slept longer but DD wanted to get up.
She is now requesting (nagging) that we play Elefun (that game you have probably seen advertised, elephants trunk that blows out butterflies and you have to catch them in a net)

Its funny as I think she must have seen the advert so many times and now keeps asking "can we play elefun, the butterfly catching game...catch the most butterflies and you win the game" its hillarious

Got my mother, granmother, brother and his girlfriend for lunch today and they are arriving in about 2 hours...better get dressed and the lunch started I guess.

Whats everyone else up today??

morning from the GunJack household After ds2's 21-hour day yesterday, we're having a slower start today....both ds1&2 still in bed thankfully..the 'flu is biting, and it's off to MIL's today for...you guessed it.....turkey, ham and chips

Hiya :hello:
I don't normally post on here, but ill definitely be on from the New Year, cos due to a new boiler, and a wedding to pay for (which is tomorrow eek!!) we're in a bit of debt now, and I'll be aiming to get rid of it all by September.
Not u to much today other than packing everything to take to my sisters to get ready for the wedding, and getting the stuff for the honeymoon.

I'm hoping for a quiet one today - OH has just gone to work. I am hoping to get out for a bit of a run later on, but apart from that not a lot planned (hopefully - I could do with a break!)

Today yesterdays chaos will yet again be resummed! Yesterday was mil, ds1 his girlfriend,dh,dd1 and ds2 good day and I am now looking at all the bits we need to put away. DS1 will be back today with his girlfriend and his son, so off now to frantically clear up so that my lovely grandson (he's 3) can make a huge mess opening the prezzies from his dad and the rest of the family! I'm going to be lurking on the computer today whilst I try to decide what to do. Felt like we'd had a really good day yesterday at MILs only for the miseraable !!!!!! to say at 10pm that he can't wait to go back to work cos it's been another miserable christmas so I feel rather deflated today and I can't even get excited about feeling the baby kick me.

I hope everyone's having a better day than me.

Spud glad DD like the Take that ticket, I welled up for a minute.

Talking of take that my DD's boss has 2 tickets to see them in cardiff that she doesn't want (cos she's going to see them somewhere else):rotfl: if anyone wants to buy them at what she bought them for let me know.

24 for christmas dinner was a bit mad yesterday and not helped by the fact that we are all ill now. Everyone is still in bed so I am surfing the net looking for bargains.

Bunny still up for the spa day but now my running weekend has been moved to the 21-22 feb and then its the manchester meet so when are we going to do it?

Hey guys. Was a rough xmas day personally. Very much an emotional rolercoaster. Spent far too much time crying but the girls had a great day and that's all that matters.
