Cat, that is excellent news on the DFD! What a fab way to start on 2009! Judging by your progress so far, you will be MF before that 8 years is up!

    Awww~ what did they get?

I'm looking for a Singstar bundle with the microphones as they look expensive on there own.

OH has guitar hero, I'm carp at it! I keep getting booed off.

I am rubbish at Guitar hero too.........I get booed and told that "I Suck"

Singstar is a right laugh althought the microphones didnt last very long before they broke:(

Sar, next Christmas you will feel totally different hun, well done for getting through it anyway................and your friend sounds as though he was slightly pizzed:rolleyes: ............I bet he feels crap this morning.

I have no intention of lifiting a finger today, going to put out some buffet food and use paper plates:D .............might get dressed at about 2pm after going back to bed with OH for a bit:D ;)
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Morning Everyone

Had a lovely sleep last night although could quite easily have slept longer but DD wanted to get up.
She is now requesting (nagging) that we play Elefun (that game you have probably seen advertised, elephants trunk that blows out butterflies and you have to catch them in a net)

Its funny as I think she must have seen the advert so many times and now keeps asking "can we play elefun, the butterfly catching game...catch the most butterflies and you win the game" its hillarious

Got my mother, granmother, brother and his girlfriend for lunch today and they are arriving in about 2 hours...better get dressed and the lunch started I guess.

    Whats everyone else up today??

We bought this game. Big mistake, you fill the Elephant (which seems to take hours to fill!) and then it blows them out in seconds! Then you have to do it all over again. We have now resorted to holding up the trunk and dropping them down rather than trying to get the head off. Still by tea-time when the OH was doing his usual hoovering (yes - a man who does the hoovering) he managed to hoover the butterflies up. Well that game did not last long!!

Sounds like Hungry Hippos, I wanted this game every Christmas when I was a kid but then my Mum bought me it when I was 23 :) After all the hype the game is over in about two seconds!

  • Hey all,

I had a loooooong chat with a mate last night which lead to a bit of an epiphany so going forwards, I think life is going to be ok. (nothing like a Grand Sweeping Statement huh?)
Managed to get the house under control this am and have got load number 3 in the machine-I am going to try and take a nap as didnt get much sleep last night-was chatting til gone 12 and DS wet the bed at 6. (And DH was on nights and I love having the bed to myself as well)

No plans at all for the next week-anyone want a visit?
