The morning was difficult and ended up getting upset. The afternoon was good. My best mate came over in the evening and we had a laugh, but then ANOTHER mate who's got a thing for me got jealous and kicked off an argument which carried on til 3am even though he knew I'd had a rough day....

    urgh..

not a mate then really! you need a bit of tlc! give your kids a cuddle:grouphug:

skint - I think it had a lot to do with him having an argument that lasted nearly two hours with his brother and SIL on top of about a dozen pints of lager and half a bottle of wine. I'd bought him a Wii for christmas but the two games I'd ordered specifically for him (medal of honour and call of duty) hasn't arrived so he was stuck with sonic, brain academy, music and carnival. Then he complained about the wii-fit I'd snuck in and said that the whole present was just for me when in fact it was for the two of us.

Oh well, I've got a medicolegal tape I can get on with - at least I'll be earning some money from it which can go to the mortgage offset account but it wasn't how I'd hoped to spend boxing day.

Oh in debt news, I've just written a check to pay off the Barclaycard (was goldfish) so in a couple of weeks when it clears we'll officially be debt free. Except for the mortgage and we've only got that for another 13 years (or 8 if I can save enough to pay it off at the end of the fixed rate deal).

families eh cat....we managed to get through yesterday without a row but it was hard...one BIL was upset cos his dad is quite ill and another SIL was putting a brave face on the fact that she received a repossession order for her house on christmas eve.....

    Unfortunately she can't be helped...
