The morning was difficult and ended up getting upset. The afternoon was good. My best mate came over in the evening and we had a laugh, but then ANOTHER mate who's got a thing for me got jealous and kicked off an argument which carried on til 3am even though he knew I'd had a rough day....

Hey guys. Was a rough xmas day personally. Very much an emotional rolercoaster. Spent far too much time crying but the girls had a great day and that's all that matters.

Awhhh! Hope things are better today IA.

Your very brief post on the "Merry Christmas" thread yesterday made me think that you were probably having a tough day of it. Was bound to happen somewhat in those circumstances.

Glad the girls had a great day though. :)

Sar, sending you lots of hugs hun. Just think the worse is over, you survived and have come out the otherside still sane :) Who knows what the next year will bring for you all but you are the most positive and likely person to have turned things around and be happier than ever.

Sammy that is a mad amount of people to have to cater for....are you mad?? Hope the sammy household feels better soon! Have you found any bargains yet then?

    Finally Debt Free...
  • Sammy, I thought the sales had already begun - before Christmas, thanks to the credit crunch and all the shops trying to compete with each other..
I noticed our local Sony Centre didn't have their usual leaflets instore advertising their usual crazy Boxing Day sale, a normal sale was already on..

Ugh I need more coffee, the Southern Comfort's still floating around my gut :(

I'm going to be lurking on the computer today whilst I try to decide what to do. Felt like we'd had a really good day yesterday at MILs only for the miseraable !!!!!! to say at 10pm that he can't wait to go back to work cos it's been another miserable christmas so I feel rather deflated today and I can't even get excited about feeling the baby kick me.

I hope everyone's having a better day than me.

good luck with the wedding Yorkshirechick.

CAt is that the OH who is a miserable !!!!!!:rotfl: as we were going to SIL's yesterday my OH said 'we aren't stoping long you know'. I wouldn't mind I have spent every year since I met him with his family. Next year I am staying at home!!!!!

I didn't cater Sally I haven't catered a christmas for 17 years (always spend it with OH's family and the 24 are just the MIL and FIL - their children and their childrens children. we do it buffet style and hire tables and chairs....and put the sofa's outside in the garden...

found a pair of boots on amazon I am just looking at. I was going to go and look at the clothes but like you I need to lose about a stone so I want to do that first.
