The 'complete this challenge' challenge...suitable for all!

hi all, back but have still been working on my challenges.
Not sure what's outstanding except the spending time with my dad which luckly i'm still able to do as he's still with us.
New challenges are:
Do a car boot within a month from today
Stop spending on my credit card, even though i pay it off in full i still spend too much on it.
lose a stone
clear my overdraft by the end of June, 250 left to clear out of 1650 that it was

Hi all, and welcome to tinks_77, Tisme and runmichellerun!
So, after posting a mammoth list last week, my 14mth old took suddenly rather poorly (his temp the night I was tyring to start was 39.8:eek:, meaning I got nothing done :mad:. But carried on as best as possible and just about tackled that list:

16. Hang mirror in en-suite that's been leaning on sink for 3 months.
17. Empty the tools out the bathroom cabinet that have been there since we hung it 6 months ago, and fill with useful stuff.
18. Water pots and baskets outside.
19. Clean downstairs loo.

So, I'm getting somewhere slowly. House DOES feel like it's starting to get somewhere now.

Morning all!

I've been trying to get my garden straight for a while now, and this week in particular..but the weathers has been all over the place, sunny one minute, peeing it down the next, decided last night that no matter what im gonna get out there today and make a good start.......So thats what i intend to do......Just having a coffee before i start.

Morning all - hope the weather is better with you than it is here - its very overcast.

Any way here are my updates:-

This Year
Pay off BoS cc - so far have paid off nearly £500
Lose 3 stone - the first 4lbs have gone
Save £300 for christmas - £35 so far
Keep a monthly spreadsheet - checked daily
Reduce total debt by 10% - work in progress

Last week's targets:-
Walk 8000 steps per day - more like an average of 6500 - must do better
Stick to menu plan - yep
Finish weeding front garden - yep
Weed patio - yep
List 10 ebay items - yep

This week's targets:-
I'll try 8000 steps again
Get bedroom ready for the guests this weekend
List 10 ebay items
Clean garden bench
Finish (huh - do you ever?) weeding back garden
Finish SIP

Better get out there sooner rather than later Tisme, it's lovely here at the moment but you're in the same part of the world as me, and we've still got thunderstorms forecast today! I'm just going to make a quick list for the day, starting with the things I didn't do from the last list:

• Clean shelves in kitchen
• Tidy DS's bedroom
• Hang mirror in en-suite that's been leaning on sink for 3 months.
• Empty the tools out the bathroom cabinet that have been there since we hung it 6 months ago, and fill with useful stuff.
• Shampoo lounge carpet (still might not do this one yet!)
• Clean kitchen/do dishwasher etc
• Put washing away, do more
• Sort out box full of catalogues, magazines etc
• Bag up and Freecycle at least 10 items of my clothing
• Sort out DS2's wardrobe and Freecycle all that's too small
• Order prints of all photos on computer & camera (free hopefully!)
• Work at 5...update spreadsheet while there.
• Do some DooYoo at work

Ha ha! Good luck!

How come I've done loads and loads of stuff, but still nothing I can cross of the list? Not fair. Uploading photos to Photobox right now, so that'll be one to cross off when they're finished. Wonder just how many times they'll let me open a new account before they stop printing out my photos?!

I've been in and out all day with the rain, but thankfully managed to get quite a bit done.

Glad you got a bit done Tisme. I did a little bit of gardening yesterday (or rather un-gardening - pulling out the dead stuff).

Half done yesterday, but I did lots of other things that weren't on the list.
Today's list therefore:

• Hang mirror in en-suite that's been leaning on sink for 3 months (probably 4 now!).
• Empty the tools out the bathroom cabinet that have been there since we hung it 6 months ago, and fill with useful stuff.
• Shampoo lounge carpet (still might not do this one yet!)
• Put washing away, do more
• Bag up and Freecycle at least 10 items of my clothing
• Sort out DS2's wardrobe and Freecycle all that's too small
• Update Spreadsheet
• Ebay post - 6 items
• Pay off Egg card, £90ish outstanding
• Paint (or DH paint!) first coat on newly plastered en-suite ceiling
• Collect expenses cheque from offices at work (and paid it in to the bank)
• Do another rewiew on DooYoo and rate as many as poss.
• List something...anything...on Ebay
• Find box of books from garage and put away properly now we have shelves for them

Anyone else got a mission for today?

If it helps jessops have a free 40 prints and a small photo book offer on at the moment - planning to upload and order mine this evening.

I will also update this thread this evening too
