I will start off by saying that by the end of January I will:
    • reach £50 payout on dooyoo
    • be at the bottom of the ironing pile
    • be able to eat at the dining table in a chaos free manner
    • go running at least 3 times each week
    • have a perfectly tidy bedroom
    • have paid £2000 off my debt
    :D

OK, 4 months late, but I finally got to the bottom of the ironing pile :rotfl:

Today I need to sand down the worktops in the kitchen and then oil them. Finish painting the kitchen Walls and if I have time gloss the skirting boards and the window ledge, I think that's it, for today anyway.

I am done for today, I managed to sand and oil the worktops, I did some painting, never did any of the other jobs as I was to busy doing jobs that I forgot to put on the list, my aim is to finish off tomorrow. I am now cooking a yummy roast.

    Can I join too...

    This weeks challenges:-

Deep clean house for visitors Tuesday, both of whom are allergic to dust. (currently place is a complete tip, due to decorating - will stop decorating and start cleaning process after posting here. May have to buy an antihistimine syringe as back up, and advise them to bring inhalers if challenge fails).

Empty washing baskets (Making progress here, due to good weather. A week ago I couldn't open the cupboard door without being drowned in a deluge of washing and knocked out by the ironing board).

Lose 1lb through walking 45 minutes a day at least 4 times this week - no chance of cutting down on food intake as will be eating out a couple of times. Wow I have almost forgotten what it feels like to eat out.

Stick to my morning and evening flylady routines every day this week.

Reward for meeting challenges:- Take up free one day membership at local health centre - take my book and have a sauna and jacuzzi - Provisional date Friday 26th June.
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.

Great to see everyone still doing well (well, those of us who dare report!). Welcome Scrooge. I like your idea of losing weight by walking 45mins a day. I might try that...sometime.

We go on holiday in under two weeks, and I really want to get the house in a respectable state before we go, otherwise it'll be a nightmare packing and a nightmare to come home to. My list to try and accomplish over the next week is therefore:
    • All washing/ironing/putting away to be up to date - no piles
    • Clear and clean the kitchen - not too bad
    • Clean fridge
    • Clear and clean utility room - a big job!
    • Shampoo lounge carpet
    • Sort out downstairs loo (dumping ground)
    • Take garden bench to be repaired
    • Re-grout & seal tiling in en-suite and properly clean
    • Sort out paperwork heap in study
    • Condense boxes of Ebay stock and rearrange more efficiently
    • Tidy and keep tidy both kids bedrooms
    • A bit of pruning and weeding in the garden
    • Put garage building job on MyHammer for quotes.
    • Get all our stuff out of friend's garage and into our own garage
That's probably enough to be going on with, but I'm sure I'll add to it.

Made a good start, and in fact almost finished, the clearing out of friend's garage. Just wish I could say the same about ours!

I also did a load of heavy-duty gardening this evening which wasn't on the list but needed done.
