I'm crawling back in shame :naughty: _pale_ :wall: - I've been really bad over the past week.

My tasks for January are looking like this:
    1. Answer 50 questions on AQA every weekday and 100 questions on Saturdays and Sundays. If I do this then I will get to £600 by the end of the month. I am WAY behind on this!! I'm going to have to go to 100 a day to make £600. I've done 243 so far.
    2. Get £50 worth of Amazon vouchers on Dooyoo. I've got £20 worth already and am only a few reviews off another £10.
    3. [STRIKE]Find a way to get back the £8.10 I've spent on presents/cards. [/STRIKE] - got back from selling some free stuff on Ebay
    4. List 20 items on Ebay (5 on each Sunday). Listed 10 items and sold 8.
    5. Complete tax return. - Still putting this off, I hate doing it but have got a couple of days off soon so will definitely do it then!!
Looking at that I suppose I haven't done too badly, just been really lazy since I went back to work. I spent yesterday cleaning my house so it is all nice and tidy at the moment.

Will start afresh from tomorrow with a new list of daily jobs.

Hi everyone - back from a course with work which has kept me offline all week. I'll read back over the past few pages tomorrow hopefully, and add the names of any new joiners to the list then...promise!

Really pleased to see that the challenge is still going strong. I've had a week off completely so can't wait to get myself stuck back into it all.

I feel a list coming on...

    Hi everyone,

Is it just me or has this thread gone a little quiet?

Come on everyone, you're all helping to keep me organised and motivated.

I've an update on my last update - if that makes sense.

I had said that I will write 2 reviews for Bview a day, but I'm going to put this on hold until I've recieved my first payment from them.

My only real task for tomorrow is to take my coppers and loose change to the bank (another £16 for savings :j ).

    Keep it up everyone x
    Looking forward to the future.

I'll be back in the morning with a list. I have half a day without dd2 (19 months) so have no excuse tomorrow.

Come on peeps, where's all that motivation gone? Don't make me start PMing you all with a kick up the butt...:D

    Here's my update:

Right, here's my main list of objectives for the year, which I'm still working to:

    1. [strike]Get the tax return done in time[/strike] done 27/12/08.:j
    2. Sort out and maintain all our financial records (have slipped lately and it's a mess) Sorted it out but been away for a week so it's slipped a bit again.
    3. This year I WILL get all my Ebay stock finally listed on Ebay
    4. I WILL have a clean, easily-maintained, clutter-free home. (:rotfl:)
    5. Need to get the garage cleared out - Freecycle if necessary.
    6. Reduce the debt by at least £20k over this year.

And here are a few smaller things that I want to achieve by the end of Jan:

    1. [strike]Tax return[/strike] (cheating as I've already done it, but motivating to cross something so big off the list already!)
    2. Get both kids bedrooms sorted out, with everything not needed ebayed/freecycled/put in the loft until needed again. Adam's room 90% done, not started on the nursery yet.
    3. Get the rest of the house in a presentable state (which it was before Santa dumped the entire contents of a branch of Toys R Us in the lounge) Not a hope.
    4. Find the slow cooker and steamer and attempt to cook. Not even looked yet.
    5. Get the study/paperwork all tidied up.
    6. [STRIKE]Get up to date on the spreadsheet [/STRIKE]and do balance transfers before offer ends. Spreadsheet ok but need to sort out the BTs.

...may add to that as I go along. Thanks for the ideas from other posts.

So I've still got a fair way to go. My shiny new and revised list is therefore:

    By end of Jan:

    Tidy and clean the study
Sort out the kids bedrooms properly, Freecycle/donate old clothes/toys
Get the bathroom finished - nearly there, finishing touches to do
Get rid of another mega-lot from garage on Freecycle
    Spreadsheet and BTs to do/update
Find the slowcooker/steamer and start using them
Get back into the payment-a-day from Payday onwards.

That should keep me fairly busy. Just need to decide where to start...
  • Is a little quiet Babs.... don't know about everyone else but its been a mad at work the last few days.... and I must confess to doing nothing at all but eat and chill on Sunday :o

The list for tonight is as follows:

Cook dinner, with enough for OH tonight and my lunch tomorrow
    Drink some fizzy stuff :o
Load of washing then into dryer for overnight drying
    Empty nappy bin
    Empty recycle bin
    Empty bathroom bin
    Put laundry into nursery
    Hoover living room carpet
Watch new season 24 (ok I know I know, but I love this show!)
'Replenish' DS's bag for nursery tomorrow
Sort out OH with a Snowball (and not the drink either!)

And for the next few days.....

    Christmas stuff into the loft
Clip the dogs claw (he hates that so that will be a military operation with OH!)
    Paint woodwork in bathroom
    Fix bathroom extractor fan
    Put laundry away
    De-clutter cupboard under stairs
    Take all rubbish to dump
    Bottles to recycle bank
Post eBay packages (the ones that sell anyway!)
Sort cds for listing on Amazon then put the rest on MusicMagpie

Think thats it for now.... I'm sure I'll think of something though!
