what supermarket reductions have you got ?

I decided to give it a miss this year, I'm fed up of being pushed, shoved and smacked in the head.
I always check out the reduced section in Tesco so our freezer is already fully stocked. The only thing I would have liked is mince pies so I might go when it closes over new year.

so do you think there'll be much going on at the Tescos that are open today (Boxing Day)? Maybe they'll be starting reductions on the essentially Christmas food lines like tins of sweets, biscuits etc

Just been to Tesco (only because driver went to pick up relative and we popped in because it was on the way). Car park packed but no bargains to be had at all. Everything seemed the same price as before Christmas. May be some of the Christmas chocolate was reduced but it was only half price so no big deal as far as we are concerned. We got some 20p half cucumbers and there was the usual mince, odd packet of pork chops just like there usually is every day. Still more money left for tomorrow when we head to Asda and Sainsburys. This sounds very sad as I type this.

In my local sainsburys today- all christmas choccies were half price and decorations etc, but thing that can be sold for New Year hadn't changed YET. I did get a few tins of danish cookes for 89p, half price and some Hannah Montana choccies for 39p.
