what supermarket reductions have you got ?

just been to asda got a huge free range turkey [£11] 2x chickens [£1.50 each] various bits reduced to below half price ,just added up ive saved over £38 and my freezer is full .:j :j :j

Just popped into Sainsbury's for some fruit and found they were reducing all their turkeys. We'd already bought ours (reduced from Waitrose, obviously!) but snapped up a 6kg free-range Gressingham Goose reduced from £58 to £25. Also got 1kg of pork loin for £2.99 and beautiful braising steak for £3.99 kg. Freezer now also full to bursting.

My local tesco had lots of bakery, fish and cream cakes reduced, so stocked up for the freezer except the cakes will go in a flash.

Couldn't get near the chilled food reductions, there was, shall we say, a very generously proportioned lady standing right next to the sales assistant doing the reductions getting first pick ... the SA handed her each item when yellow stickered ... she would look them over ... put them in her trolley (which was blocking access for everyone else) if she wanted it ... or if she didn't, she literally chucked it in the fridge cabinet!

Got a kilo of stuffed guinea fowl £3.99 from Sainsburys and there were a large number of Turkey crowns going for around £6, but I overhead the staff discussing how much to reduce them further by. Weren't as many bargains as I expected - Waitrose's shelves were empty and staff refused to discount the fresh meat when I asked, although this was 2 hours before closing time

our asda was rubbish, all they had was sprouts down to 50p, and turkeys down to £10 from £21. that was it!!!!!

Went to morrisons an hour before closing , only a few bit of bread.

Turkeys had been reduced by £1.00.

6 yorkshire puds for 50p from M&S, plus i also grabbed their last box of mince pies, which resulted in some very nasty looks from a couple of nearby shoppers.

yes couldn't find mince pies either (not that I usually eat them much, it's just DD is adament Santa has one with a glass of Guinness ). Have sent DH out again to get tea for tonight - with all the excitement forgot to buy anything! doh

In Waitrose i just got 8 large slices of heathland scottish smoked salmon for £2.59
Turkeys were all half price and they were just starting to reduce them down further....no one likes turkey in our house tho :rolleyes:

Got a half price turkey - bronze free range in Sainsbury's also organic free range chicken (in oven now) from £9.50 to £3.00. Pork Medallions £1.00 minced lamb TTD (50p each and panna cotta half price also veg etc. Usually have all my shopping done by now but feeling ill (shingles) hance last minute.
