Hi
Yes I'm home and only slightly jet lagged.
Now I have an interview with HR on Monday to justify my job:eek:
So have decided to look, as last year I lost my lovely boss and the new one has given me a withered old witch to work for:mad: she is loud/ posh and confident but talks complete and utter bollox so even though they have invested much money in training me I hope to be offski
Not the best time to look for work but hey it's worth a go and I don't want to spend my working life miserable!
On the money front paying debts off as fast as I can but need ex to get a job asap as it's going to run out soon.
Oh tough and uncertain times:oLBM- finally kicked in 16/12/08 @ [strike]£41,862 [/strike] £0.00/ DFD- 24/12/13

Ok OK Geez you aren't half a nag!
Ok now I am still looking for another job..... it's so hard when you are at work all day!!!!
I have remortgaged due to ex being out of work since September mortgage payments now £640pm instead of £1200!
Also I have moved alll borrowing into one sainsburys loan for 12000 and will repay it over 5 years @ £250pm obviously if circumstances change that will be different. So my debt free date has moved from Nov 11 to Goodness knows when
But this seems manageable at the moment with ex doing casual work and my eldest giving me some keep.
I know loan, credit card consolidation is not ideal but I could not keep up payments as before without ex's £60k IT Salary.
Anyway that is me at the moment:pLBM- finally kicked in 16/12/08 @ [strike]£41,862 [/strike] £0.00/ DFD- 24/12/13

I am more than half a nag - so don't you forget it Mrs!!!! lol
I agree that work does get in the way of sooo much - I do think about all the things I could do with my days, if only I didn't have to work!!
I think that you have done the right thing with the loan - just don't go ramping up those cards again! (I have been there and done that!)
I take it you can overpay the loan if the opportunity ever arises to be able to clear it quicker?
So, your DFD is a little further away than you thought / hoped. Its still sooo much closer than if you had never done anything about it!!

You are so right- yes I can repay early without much of a penalty, I will not use cards again and yes my debt will decrease regularly if I'm sensible:cool:
Thinking of going diving in Lanzarote in November what do you think:pLBM- finally kicked in 16/12/08 @ [strike]£41,862 [/strike] £0.00/ DFD- 24/12/13
