    Hope this makes sense!
When I got my trike I had things put on the pedals by the man at the place got trike.
They were to support my feet & to stop my feet falling off the pedals.
They have now stretched & when I was out the other day my feet kept falling of the pedals.
    Any suggestions.
If I get the same rubbery type it will just happen again.
    Ta :)

I used to have metal toe clips with leather straps - would that work for you, you would slide your foot in and tighten up, then there is a quickish release mechanism when you stop. I'm guessing that you would be able to manage this as you are on a trike.

I'll search the web and see if I can find a picture.

These ones are plastic but the principle is the same - you wouldn't suffer stretching problems and the strap would take up the slack and keep your foot secure.

This is the same set up from www.wiggle.co.uk http://www.wiggle.co.uk/mc/Cycle/7/KF/Pedals_-_Flat/

There is also www.bikeplus.co.uk there wasn't a link to copy, but if you search on toe clip it will give you there very limited range.

If you have a helpful cycle shop (or even halfords?) nearby they should be able to help.

    Hope that helps

There's also a jacuzzi and sauna, oh and a steam room (tried that when I was a member before - not sure what that does for you except makes you hot - but you can't sweat 'cos of the humidity  )

Will need to go to bed soon so that I can get to the gym for the 07.00hrs spin class.

The steam room must be good for your skin and usually you do sweat in them, i've seen films with big fat men sweating in them :rotfl:

I weigh in tomorrow at 10am this week so fingers crossed for me this week
  • I'm happy to say that when I was in there I was alone with no big fat sweaty men in sight. Maybe in the films it's not real sweat - perhaps they spray them with oil?

Don't think I'll do it again - it seemed a bit pointless.
