It's happened next door to me.
Wouldn't say my neighbours are wealthy city types, though!
As for the parish council.....err....they know what's going on, but then look who's on the parish council!
When you walk around the back of my house you can see a farmer has converted his old chicken barns into a massive building & storage area that contains plant machinery.
Its not a little bit of plant, its millions of quids worth.
He didnt have & has not got change of use & all the authorities know....Not Again0 -
I'm surprised that the authorities are not on the job with a nice big back dated business rates assessment, if he is running a plant hire business.
Are we all over taxed as well as over regulated?0 -

I am quite sure he will be having to pay the money now. But I bet it only gets backdated to when they found out give or take a couple of months..Not Again0 -

In my experience, parish councils are pretty hot on reporting this kind of breach, as they tend to know which dwellings are subject to agricultural occupancy conditions.LOL, I'll compromise with one ''very'' then

What are we waiting for again, before the Tudor castle gets knocked down?
Is it the same as all the other times, we were waiting for something then it never happened. Or is it different this time?0 -
if you are not watching Eurovision, watch Homes from Hell on ITV2 +1 - the owner of the "castle" is on at the very end!BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
