Sorry, I'm confused. Where is the cheapest place to buy this? John Lewis or Comet - assuming Richer Sounds has run out.
Better off buying it from John Lewis, as they include a 5 year warranty in the price.
Thanks to all who post constructively.

The John Lewis is now around the same price, £329.

Was just responding to post 52. If you've got time to nitpick, lucky you indeed.

    1) They asked a question.
    2) I answered it.
    3) You appeared to be questioning my answer.
    4) I pointed out that what you were saying had already been taken into consideration.

This is a forum for discussion. I'm discussing. If you don't like that, it's your problem, not mine. I'm not nitpicking.

Who? Not JL I just been on the phone myself to them ??
Edit: Sharlee is quite right - instore for £329 delivered - just rang JL Oxford St direct and got one.

And they did say that if the price comes down within the next 28 days they will refund the difference.

    Regards

Yess It should have been that but it wasn't. It may be down to the Alliance and Leicester and a whole load of rubbish about verification which led to a dead end and requesting a password which was not needed in the end.

Sounds like verified by visa / mastercard secure code which is the weirdest security invention ever that makes it look like someones phishing your details.

Hi been following these deals over the past day or so .. its so tempting.

I have noticed Tesco are selling a simular TV the Sony KDL32U4000 for £350.

Cant find much info on the KDL32U but quite a bit on the KDL32V !!

I am fairly sure that this is not the V - the supermarkets have the lower quality one, which most of them call the L, as far as I know. Somebody here thought they saw the V at Sainsbury last week, but when they went back and checked it was actually the L.

  • Belated thanks to Roger_Rampant for posting the original details on this. I was on holiday in the States for the past 2 weeks, but thought I would keep an eye out on Boxing Day in case it set any price matches off. As a result I got it for £299 from JL which was fantastic.

We've been threatening to buy a new TV for about 8 years now, so thanks for actually dragging us back to the 21st century! :j
